Inherited antique treasure

What would be the best way to get rid of a entire collection of collectibles or try to find that one antique Roadshow precious Relic and open my own antique shop? There is everything to possibly collect from antique brass candle holders to Wicker and heavy wood furniture to antique mirrors Roseville vases clocks toys lamps old paintings records fine China. Every item i have looked up on Google lens has similar if not identical matches priced anywhere from a few hundred to tens of thousands of dollars. she hoarded for over 50 years and everything has been sitting around collecting dust and I

Know that alot of art works that nobody knew anything about 20 plus years ago become very sought after treasures and the amount of signed oil on canvas paintings I have something is going to be a home run.

First thing I would do is pony up cash for a professional appraisal so you know what you have. and then decide what to do.

This collection should have been valued for probate, so start with the executor and get their appraisal, if there wasn't one, get a professional to value it. Selling stuff piecemeal will take ages and quite a lot of work, but you'll get very much more than if you sell it all as a job lot.

Google art auction in your area like Sotheby’s Christie’s etc see if any are willing to to take the paintings. Call estate sale companies
