Question Anyone with a coffee station on a kitchen peninsula?

Post image

I only have a kitchen peninsula that is stuck to a wall. No cabinets above or below. I have added a pic for reference, it is not my kitchen. The part where the chairs are is the only space I could use.

I was wondering if any of you had had success setting up on a place like this and how it looked. Or if you had any ideas on what could be done.

I have a dedica and a fellow opus 2 in the mail. I just feel it will look odd from behind if I just place them near the wall.

Thank you!

Can't you just place them with back to the wall?

I could, but I’d have an awkward workflow wouldn’t I?

I have exactly this setup, but I am occupying the other side - opposite of the chairs. It’s not bad, but I wish for more space.

Just saw it on your profile, that is lovely. My wife would never let me use that much space though 😂

Maybe built a cabinet and storage is on the backside. To access storage, you would need to pull out sideways.

Mine ended up on the sink end because I'm at the tap ten times a morning, filling and dumping grounds. On a peninsula all of that crosses the seating side, so the sink end is the only spot that doesn't make you walk around people. Once that was settled I stopped worrying about how the back looks.
