According to a recording from a resident on the scene,
Alan Yu was reportedly held by his feet and dangled upside down from a high-rise building.
He was screaming desperately, until his attackers eventually released their grip, causing him to fall to his death.
He was a grown man, 37 years old. It's rumored that there's a culture in the Chinese entertainment industry where celebrities are forced to accompany high-ranking TV executives for drinks, and might even be pressured into doing incredibly humiliating things. It's so hard to imagine a 37-year-old adult being unable to fight back.
It’s absolutely outrageous.

I saw a video yesterday on YouTube where they pieced a lot of the stuff together from the information they know so far. And everything that I’m seeing and hearing really makes this look like he was assaulted then murdered. Some people are speculating that people in power in the industry might have raped him, and then it led his death or assaulted him which led his death. There are accounts that people heard people fighting in the apartment at the time that people are claiming he was supposedly asleep,. The police were called and came and left. I don’t know why police would leave if there’s an active argument going on or not to check health and welfare to make sure that everybody in that apartment is OK and not being held against their will. There’s questions as to why the screen on the window wasn’t pushed outward which it would, if you fell out of a window, if it was opened and pulled inward the position of his body on the ground none of it looks like an accident. And hearing the screams in this video and other videos absolutely is haunting and terrifying. Nobody should have that be their last moments of life. I couldn’t sleep last night after watching one of these videos and thinking about the horror and fear he had knowing that he was going to die and how desperate he must’ve been to stay alive.. His poor mother, I can’t even imagine how grief stricken she is at this moment. I really hope that he gets justice and I hope she gets justice. None of this looks like an accident and people with money and power shouldn’t be able to walk away without consequences.
It really makes me sick, looking at the c/drama industry as a whole, knowing that there are so many unwritten rules that happen to actors and actresses to be able to keep their jobs and the pressure that they go through if they want to breakthrough and become famous. I don’t know how anybody wants to be a part of this industry.

So it’s been a few days and I swear to God the stories just gotten even worse. I watched this one and the images are so horrible like the cover image on the actual video itself shows his body on the ground twice and it has a lot more information. A lot of things are coming to light.

There’s also now accounts coming out from an actress that he was dating where she had conversations with him in the days before he died, where he told her that if something happened to him that it wasn’t not an accident and to make sure that they don’t erase him from the world.
There’s so much coming out that it’s becoming more and more clear that this had something to do with organized crime and money laundering a lot of violence. He did not die a peaceful death and it’s absolutely horrific.

Is this the celebrity that was reported or is it the different one? Yikes. I have seen pictures of eyewitnesses accounts but didn’t get to see this video. Corruption really is a bastard

I saw the eyewitness image. This is one of the video I haven’t seen. I could say with the Chinese netizens recreated the scene via drawing, I could have seen that it’s probably even worst compared to what happened during Jiangyou, China where a girl got bullied by other grouped girls. But I would have guess that whatever happened bad would end up censored by Chinese social media. This is seriously bad but government are covering up.

Honestly, I’m not really sure either. I think a lot of people aren’t clear about this. From what I’ve seen on Reddit, Chinese users seem pretty indifferent to this topic, and even the left-leaning subs haven’t talked about it. I find that super weird.
The biggest left-leaning subs in all of China not making any noise about it? Wtf

There's more to this story and it's not a rumor. This video is the final moments. Hours before this he was drugged at that party where 17 of his so-called friends were present, beaten, tried to escape in a parking lot & was caught, dragged to another hotel room, tortured & had his STOMACH CUT OPEN to retrieve a freaking USB drive (What the HELL!?)...suicide??! HELL NO.
