Weirdo ex blocked on every platform emails me twice this week about my rehomed cat.

I was really open about rehoming, posted to Facebook,groups, the works. Never felt any shame in it—she was not compatible with my lifestyle or standards of cleanliness/living. This past weekend my ex emailed me to ask if I had visited her and then again at midnight telling me I rehomed her cause I only care about myself. And yes said ex has a cat that pees on his clothes and must keep the closet closed at all times or else the cat will pee in his closet instead of the box.

Don't reply, any type of response shows him he matters. And keep paper trails of him contacting you, in case you need a restraining order.

He's probably using the cat as an excuse to contact you, but don't explain yourself. Again any reaponse he gets, will make him feel like he still has control over you. Block, ignore and document .

Also disgusting about the closet. Not surprising , but still gross....

Oh yeah he’s absolutely getting no supply from me. The cats been rehomed for almost a year at this point, so it was so out of left field.

cat pee leads to instant rehoming. it is a revolting sweet odor that does not come out of fabrics.

I’ve had a coat ruined by cat urine. Tried countless odor removal methods and the scent just wouldn’t come out. I’m genuinely stomped by how anyone could tolerate an animal just pissing anywhere in their home.
