Advice Anyone try the test on CareerExplorer???
I 21F like most people are trying to figure out what should I do with my life. So I googled up a free career test. I found CareerExplorer I took the test but now I'm wondering hmmm.....is this even accurate??! Has anyone actually followed through on what this test says or are Career Tests a scam nowadays? Any thoughts opinions or advice?? Anyone tried it and followed through??!

I think 21 is honestly an age where a lot of people feel stuck and have no idea what they want to do long term. On top of that, with AI changing so many industries and the job market being pretty unpredictable, I feel like choosing a career now is not just about what you like, but also what opportunities will actually be there in the future.
That’s where career counselling helped me. I’m not really sure how good the free counselling options are, but a good private counsellor who actually keeps up with current industries can be really useful. They usually have a better idea of which careers are growing, what skills companies are looking for, and which paths might not have as many opportunities anymore.
The career test I took back then was almost 2 hours long. At the beginning I was honestly bored and just wanted to finish it 😂 but then I thought, this is something that could affect the next 20–30 years of my life, so I should probably take it seriously.
I wouldn’t blindly follow any career test though. I’d use it more as a starting point. See what it suggests, research those careers, talk to people actually working in those fields, and then make your decision from there.

when i want to understand something about career....i go to the best academy that provides the course and then take first counselling... once you go for that you end up understanding if your career path match what they are providing or no, plus you get lots of knowledge about new stuff... like new courses.... so always worth it... so i would say you can check it out, hear what it says and then see if its somthing you want in career or no
