Back again!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day instead of screaming at their reddit app for constantly refreshing their feed. See you tomorrow!

iOS feed window is too small now that “for you” and “following” extra bar is underneath the header/search bar [iOS]

Upvotes

Description: feed window is too small now that “for you” and “following” extra bar is underneath the header/search bar. This sucks. I can only read like 4 items at a time and half the time, that 4th one is some unrelated advertisement. Also, nobody wants to be forced to see content that is unrelated to the subs they are in.
Device model: 13 mini
OS version: current
Steps to reproduce: view the app. At all
Expected and actual result: I expect an app that focuses on a feed to not reduce the useability of the feed.

Hello

I am trying to block some spam bots, and I keep getting the same error:"You can't block [insert username here] for 24 hours after unblocking them."

I didn't block them before today. This has happened on both Android app and mobile app. Just thought to report it.

Android [android] Chats, followers, achievements not loading - Version 2026.35.0

Upvotes

I have a samsung s25 ultra the reddit app version i am using is Version 2026.35.0. Everything was working fine this morning then I enabled 2fa from the website and I got logged out from app. I logged in on reddit and my followers disappeared and I can't see my achievements. The chats section keeps on loading . My profile picture doesn't load on the lower right corner. I thought it was issue with 2fa because I login using Google I disabled 2fa and then tried logging again but it didn't work. I have tried everything it doesn't work on app. Everything is showing up on web.

I’d appreciate it if the admins could look into this issue and help resolve it.

Android [Android] [Web] Account still banned after successful appeal

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

Writing for another account since it can't post.

The account got an autoban because of a typo, reddit admins reviewed the appeal and judged that it was a ban done in error. They restored comments and lifted the site wide ban, but the ban still persists even weeks later. This was tested on Android and Windows, via the native android app and the website. Pics are of the email showing the ban was lifted and the error the account sees on the android app. Thank you.

Desktop Web Desktop Web Opera: Streak / Achievements counter stuck for 4 days

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

My daily streak counter has been completely stuck for 3 days now, even though I use Reddit daily and spend plenty of time scrolling and interacting.

Here is what I've already tried on my end without any success:

  • Upvoting, commenting, and opening multiple posts
  • Disabling Opera's built-in ad blocker, tracker blocker, and VPN
  • Clearing cache and cookies for reddit.com
  • Testing in a private browsing window (incognito) with all extensions disabled

Is there a server-side sync issue with my account, or is this a known bug currently affecting the web version?

Mod Tools - Desktop [Desktop Web] [Firefox] Removed section from Mod Queue shows report reason

Post image
Upvotes

It used to be that these removed comments / posts showed the moderator who took the remove action and a relative time. This is no longer the case since 1 - 2 weeks ago.

Now most removed comments / posts show the report reason instead. For me this is only reproducible on web. On Android it seems to still work OK.

Mod Tools - Desktop Can't Access the User Mod Log in the Desktop Web

Upvotes

When I click the username of OP on a Post, ModLog comes up most of the time but not when it is on a comment on a Post. It also collapses the comment. It disappears too quickly to take a screenshot. Can't click "Add Mod Note" or "Mod Log" nothing happens.

It doesn't work on any comments from any user.

I'm on Reddit Desktop, Windows 11 and using Firefox or DuckDuckGo Browsers. Have tried different Browsers, disabled extensions etc.

Same issue as this Poster 4 years ago.

iOS [ios] app is scrolling to the top of the thread… AGAIN

Upvotes

Not talking about the full page reset/refresh which I understand is intentional (though i really hate it, please turn this off). But now lately (if I’m lucky enough for it to not boot me to the front page ) If i stop looking at a post for any reason and return to the app, the thread will always scroll all the way to the top of the post !!! Its insanely annoying

This was patched and now its back and even worse

been happening for 14+ days now

Android [Android] serverconnection issues - version 2026.35.0

Upvotes

While browsing the app will state "we are having trouble getting to reddit," and fail to load anything. This will continue until the next 10 minute mark(for instance: if it starts at 12:14PM, it will continue until 12:20PM). At the turn of the minute, on the dot, the issue clears up for a few more minutes. The connection fails again soon after. This issue is relatively new, but im not sure exactly when it started. It seems almost like the server giving my connection a timed disconnect.

Android On android [Google pixel], I could not view a menu within a subreddit's rules.

Upvotes

This issue does not exist on mobile chrome. The specific issue was that I could not scroll the rules for each flair in a menu on r/ShowerThoughts. I'm not sure why a menu like that would be supported in the browser but not the app.

Desktop Web [Safari] not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin. Status code: 200

Post image
Upvotes

The last few days Reddit has been either locking up, not displaying a page, or the infinite scroll stops working. When either happens, I have to close the window and start over. I opened Safari's error console and I see a number of errors.

Running Safari 17.6 with no plugins.

iOS IOS. Safari address bar freezes when using REDDIT. Tahoe 26.6.2

Upvotes

I have a Mac and the safari has been freezing in the address bar. If I put google in the address bar and then type in Reddit is works for a while. Then if I am typing - mid type the cursor freezes and I have to exit out go back to google and return to where I left off typing.

I am not alone as several people have posted this same issue. I had a tech support person look at it and said it is not my settings, cache or privacy. That seems to be the consensus of the others who have posted what they have done to eliminate the issue.

Help please.

Desktop Web [Desktop Web] Error when reordering sidebar widgets

When I attempt to reorder the sidebar widgets, I get the error "Something went wrong while updating the widget order." The only way to resolve this issue seems to be removing all widgets and reentering them in the order I want them in.

Android (Android) AchievementsforAugust Top 1%, 5%, 10% and 25% have not been awarded (2026.35.0)

Upvotes

As you may already be aware the Top Member Achievements for August that are usually distributed to us on the 2nd of every month have yet to be awarded. Also the leaderboards for these achievements and the counter for the banana length achievements have not updated since August 31st! I moderate several achievements themed subs and our members are becoming quite concerned. Any input you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks

Android [android] [desktop] Unable to mute subreddits

Upvotes

For the last month or so, whenever trying to mute a sub, I get the message "Something went wrong".  I get this whether its the Android app, samsung internet, google chrome on my desktop, or google chrome on my phone, so I believe it may be an account issue.

Everything is up to date on every app and platform I've tried.

iOS [iOS] 365-day streak reset to 4 days despite daily activity

Upvotes

My streak suddenly reset to 4 days when I was only a few days away from 365, despite using and interacting with Reddit every single day. My iPhone Screen Time shows hours of Reddit usage every day, including around the reset.
Ironically, this is the second time this has happened near 365. Almost exactly a year ago, I lost my first streak while traveling from Germany to Hawaii. I blamed the 20-hour trip and 12-hour time difference and started over.
Now, almost a full year later, I was about to finally hit 365 again, no travel, no time-zone changes, and it randomly reset to 4.
Is there a current streak/achievement tracking bug, and can the original streak be restored?

Android New Reddit Android app issue regarding replying to comments since yesterday, bug or design issue? Version 2026.35.0

Upvotes

The android app is almost unusable in terms of navigating through threads to comment and reply. That might just be a bad design issue, but the bug comes in when the comment window covers the comment you're replying to, and you can't see where you're at in the thread, if that makes sense. Thanks
