Anchors…they extend out to keep you stationary in shallow water

Powerpoles they are for setting anchor

I believe the Minnkota corporation would strongly like you to note that these are Talon shallow water anchors… not Power Pole shallow water anchors.

One thing to add is this is an anchor for less than 8 feet water. Very handy if you fish that way.

And i think they can be remote controlled from the trolling motor so it’s quick and easy to move around a fishing spot.

They are an enormous improvement.

Shallow water anchor. Not setting an anchor but they go down and anchor you in shallow water

Power poles are hydraulic powered fiberglass anchors that stab the ground similar to a push pole anchor method instead of a traditional anchor. Great for fishing and jumping shallow spot to shallow spot and also great for sandbar days. One or two buttons instead of ropes and anchors but the tradeoff is additional electronics and hydraulics to deal with.

I have the PowerPole Micro on my boat. No hydraulics. You can power with a single line to the battery OR a small rechargeable battery pack on top. Comes with 2 wireless remotes. One on the dash, the other on a neck lanyard.

Good for 1500 pounds of boat. Love them!!

Arms that drop down to hold the boat in place in shallow water - use in place of an anchor.

Looks just like my brothers Lund impact, the glove compartment fuel cap and transom match.

They call them ‘mud anchors’ here in GA

The brand is listed on them. You could’ve googled them and gotten an immediate answer. Why ask here and wait for hours/days?

I will never understand redditors who don’t know how to use the internet but live on the internet.
