Here are some places you can donate

I've been strongly recommended MIRC https://maineimmigrantrights.org/ and Presente www.presentemaine.org/give which help immigrants statewide, and Maine Solidarity Fund www.mainesolidarity.org who support the supporters.

I expect that they have volunteer opportunities too.

It's also probably a good day to spend a few bucks downtown. I'm a WFH asshole so I'm gonna go to Time And Tide or Elements and just like be around good people a bit.

EDIT: If you want to contact city goverment, email ContactallCouncilors@Biddefordmaine.org (I'm the Ward 5 councilor but this goes to all Council + Mayor + City Manager)

Come to Mechanics Park! I saw beautiful things happen with strangers tonight. Despite some assholes trying to ruin it. They didn’t.

Maine solidarity fund is doing great work, they have been paying bonds, habeas corpus, and attorney fees for people affected by ICE. Right now services are limited by low funds so they could definitely use the support.

Please go to Biddo Bahn. Joan worked there.

Also, Maine Coalition for Immigrants Rights is always in need of donations.
