Sports/āĻā§āϞāĻžāϧā§āϞāĻž đĸ Bangladeshis need to focus on their own Bangladesh Football team, even national captain acts like a fan of other countries
This is embarrassing. From Brazil/Argentina obsession to the national team captain Jamal Bhuyan acting like a regular fan.
Bangladesh needs to focus on Bangladesh Football team and Bangladeshi player skills and development.

What are you going on about? There's nothing wrong with a football player going to watch a match. He has a flag of the country with him. What more do you want him to do?
Edit: OP is either dumb as a rock, or it's a ragebait. I think it's the second.

u/ddsukituoft Jul 21 '26
The fact that you dont see anything wrong, is precisely the problem with Bangladeshi thinking. You don't see Spanish or Finnish players going to Portugal or Brazil matches like this. They focus on their own team and train and practice. Any obsession is for their own country's teams.

They do , itâs soo normal that people donât make posts on Reddit like u
•
u/ddsukituoft Jul 21 '26
this is why Bangladesh team is ranked 200th in the world. because country is filled with people who think like you
•
u/NoPart7463 zamindar/āĻāĻžāĻŽāĻŋāύāĻĻāĻžāϰ đ Jul 21 '26
Itâs 183rd* not 200th due to our poor sporting facilities, there is not enough investment or infrastructure not because of people who think like me
•
u/ddsukituoft Jul 21 '26
Brazil develops their players from slums and favelas. Lack of facilities is just an excuse. Mentality is way more important. If your mentality allows you to shamelessly allow your national team captain to parade around other country's world cup matches when your own team is low rank, then your mentality is not right. Look at CR7 for mentality. train and practice and diet every single day. while our players have belly

Brazil develops their players from slums and favelas.
They used to, not anymore, and in today's football there's no alternative to nurturing the talent in a deeply professional way (which is why Brazil currently is going through a trophy drought). Mentality is not enough to win games, you need to be professional about the whole system top to bottom. The game's gone global, and so has the benchmark.

Mexico is ranked #8, the whole country is a shitshow. What's your point?
•
u/ddsukituoft Jul 21 '26
is Mexico football team captain going to other country's world cup games like a tourist? even if they didn't quality do you think in 100 years they will do something like this? Only Bangladesh team captain will do this kind of shit

He's a fan of the sport and went to watch a World Cup match. If Bangladesh had qualified, then your take would make more sense to a broader audience. As there's really NO CHANCE of a conflict of interest, the man can be a FAN of ANY team he likes!
Or, that's what I see...
•
u/ddsukituoft Jul 21 '26
no it's tacky at best and disrespectful at worst.
he should be training to improve his 200th ranked team. if you are ranked so low you should be ashamed to even show your face let alone parade around multiple world cup games of other countries
•
u/Wonderful-Leg-6514 Jul 27 '26
Dont worry man i get your worries. These people in the comments are too prideful to admit about their own country mens faults.
•
u/nvdabd Jul 21 '26
Yea and he can. What do you think he's doing rest of the 4 years,? What an absolutely dumb take
•
u/ddsukituoft Jul 21 '26
show me any other national team captain acting like this
•
u/nvdabd Jul 21 '26
No. I don't care if he's the only captain in the world to do it. He has absolute individual freedom to enjoy his free time however he wants.
•
u/ddsukituoft Jul 21 '26
his team is ranked 200th in the world out of 220 countries.
We should demand ALL of his time dedicated to improve his skills or improve Bangladeshi football.•
u/nvdabd Jul 21 '26
No. We shouldn't. Your implication that watching the WC is equivalent to him not giving time to the national team is outright stupid. Do you really think a few extra days of not watching the WC will magically change his football style to top 20 in the world?

He's a human ffs he can do whatever he wants. And the fact that you are blaming HIM for the BD team being bad instead of the BFF really reflects your mentality. What a dumb take
