in that sense, yes, Bangladesh is more similar to Pakistan. but from my POV, where Bangu are heading is not more of a Pakistan. in the long term, it's straight towards Afghanistan. combo of peak illiteracy and hypocrisy

I think BAL and BNP are to blame for this. They were in power for the longest time. If they had reformed our education system and promoted cultural practices, then most youths, especially Gen Zwould not have affiliated with the right wing. BAL and BNP never cared about literacy beyond exploiting government funds. BNP is the one that allowed Jamaat to engage in politics, and that’s how it started. As for BAL, they have deviated from their true secular ideology to legitimize “rater vote,” i mean election rigging. Sheikh Hasina also compromised with the radical wing by recognizing Qawmi madrasas and earning the title “Qawmi Janani.” Both BAL and BNP have empowered the right wing for their own benefits.

3 million orphans stay in Madrasa systems. Who will finance then if not the Madrasa system which gets finance from Arab nations?

That’s the problem. The government should fund orphan madrasas and regulate their curriculum. It should also eliminate unnecessary madrasas that are scattered across the country. If possible, it should create residential schools for orphans. BNP should increase transparency in foreign donations to charities and Wahhabi cult organizations that promote hardline ideologies. Otherwise, they will be wiped out by right-wing groups.

Any government operation is riddled with corruption and abuse. And government does have orphan child shelter system. Many allegation of violence and abuse are against them.
If the so called seculars are worried about safety they can collect funds from Western world and build shelters for the orphan children. But, they would never do that. Cause they are here to do virtue signaling and taking any opportunity to establish their western culture.

US private for-profit prisons are in every way worse than gulags, but then again, most inmates there are petty criminals caught on charges like carrying a bag of weeds, so that doesn't work either.. 🤔🤔🤔 damn it's hard
