BECOMING A VERIFIED ARTIST

WHAT IS THE VERIFIED ARTIST TAG?

While r/ArtStore does not and cannot guarantee the experience or reliability of the artists or clients who use our subreddit, we do provide the "Verified Artist" tag for artists who have taken the time to assure us their social media and Reddit accounts match up.

This means when you're hiring an artist or commissioning an artist from our subreddit with the Verified Artist tag, you know the social media or website they're sending you is associated with them, and that they're not sending you a portfolio from another artist entirely.

While you should still be using best practices while commissioning an artist, this provides at least some level of confirmation for you to begin with.

HOW TO GET THE VERIFIED ARTIST TAG

To get the Verified Artist tag reach out to us via ModMail. We'll provide you with a short code to place on your social media or website for a short time (generally a few hours). You can place it in your bio or on a post to send us. Once this is confirmed, we'll give you the Verified Artist tag.

If you're uncomfortable verifying via social media and have a contact email listed publicly, we can also use that to give you the Verified Artist tag by having you send a quick email to our dedicated email address.
