Zionist Media 🎥🎶🎧 Zionist Musicians

I'm sure there's been a post like this before, but please share your favorite zionist musicians! I'm always looking for more music to listen to, and getting tired of so many musicians I like turning out to be gross people.

Bob Dylan, Regina Spektor, Pink

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Robert Zimmerman! Always loved that bob Dylan’s real name means singer man in Yiddish. What a riot!

Matisyahu

This was my answer. I'm not even Jewish but Miracle is one of my top-played songs, it's such a banger.

I find at least U2 and The Smiths extremely suspect additions to this list. Are you sure? Both are pretty hardcore Irish nationalists and we know where they tend to stand

Bono's language on the subject has been very careful and very neutral (In respect to recognizing the pain that 'both sides' are enduring). He's careful to limit his criticism to Netanyahu and the Government, which is fair game, and not to Israel itself.

Johnny Marr I'm not sure, but Morrissey MO seems to take whatever side pisses the most people off. Unfortunately, that's taking Israel's side.

u/Forsaken_Matter_295 Aug 03 '26

Johnny released a statement supporting free expression for Kneecap and Palestine

u/AMac2002 Aug 03 '26

It’s shocking, but they’re both true. Bono especially has been great.

u/anonymous44- Aug 03 '26

Paul McCartney? I don’t know about that.

Nick Cave has a more than reasonable stance on the situation. He refused to bend to the BDS movement. Brian Eno wrote Nick an open letter when Nick was going to play Israel. Nick politely and eloquently publicly responded and more or less told Eno to go kick rocks.

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Love Nick Cave… so happy to hear!

Boy George is a hero.
Start with the song Karma Chameleon.

u/elat27 Aug 03 '26

I have We will Dance Again as my ringtone.

u/lepreqon_ Aug 03 '26

Did you see the latest? He split with his label over his stance today.

u/Confident-Skin-6462 Aug 03 '26

good for him

u/lepreqon_ Aug 03 '26

obviously

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Omg my dad sent me an article about him! I literally could not find the Oct. 7 song ANYWHERE though!

u/Raaaasclat Aug 03 '26

Ziggy Marley

Billy joel and pretty sure neil diamond and sedaka

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Always been surprised when hearing Billy Joel as pro Israel because he mentions Palestine in “we didn’t start the fire”. Wonder what that’s about? Unless he mentions it in condemnation

u/jonnycat82 Aug 03 '26

I think everything mentioned in that song is neutral.

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

I didn’t think about it that way- you’re probably right!

u/Relevant_Affect_3174 Zionist Ally 🤝 Aug 04 '26

I think he meant in a way about ‘war in middle east’ as a whole and it rhymed perfectly

u/McBurger Aug 03 '26

Infected Mushroom, if you want some dirty techno 😎

u/Netherese_Nomad Aug 03 '26

Really? I would have expected the opposite tbh.

u/Raaaasclat Aug 04 '26

They're an Israeli duo

u/Netherese_Nomad Aug 04 '26 edited Aug 04 '26

Dude, not gonna lie, I torrented Vicious Delicious back in like 2007, heard Artillery, saw the Suliman track and wrote them off as Turkish or Arab (to my American ear). Haven’t really looked into them since.

Sincerely, thank you for this. I’m going to give the rest of their stuff a shot

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

I’m pretty sure they collaborated with Berry Sakharof on יומולדת!

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Oh i just remembered they’re in תרקוד לנצח as well… so def pro Israel

u/Muadeeb Aug 03 '26

Dylan Carlson's Earth, John Zorn

u/ElmarSuperstar131 Aug 03 '26

Montana Tucker has been an incredible ally!

u/theAlmightyE312 Aug 03 '26

Frank sinatra

u/doovdevan Aug 03 '26

five for fighting

u/mandatedcourage Aug 03 '26

A lot of the ones I like have been mentioned already, but I'd like to bring up Westside Gravy. So underrated.

I also recommend listening to music from Israeli singers :)

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Of course! Love Israeli singers, I listen to tons of Hebrew music and it’s most of my childhood favorites!!
Also thanks for the recommendation!

u/mandatedcourage Aug 04 '26

That's awesome! If you have any recommendations, I'd love to check them out too, as I'm always on the lookout for new music to discover.

And no problem, I hope you enjoy. Westside Gravy isn't my usual style of music but he has such powerful lyrics that I find myself getting into it anyway.

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 07 '26

Sorry for the delayed response... I'm in school in a summer intensive course and it's been crazy LOL.

I am a really big fan of Jane Bordeaux and she is probably my favorite Israeli artist (listen to אוקיינוסים). When I was growing up we called her the Israeli Taylor Swift. Omer Adam is obviously a popular one, same with Hanan Ben Ari, Aviv Geffen, Hatikva 6, Shlomo Artzi, Ishay Ribo, Eyal Golan, Arik Einstein. I like Full Trunk and Metropolin a lot too.

Sorry for the long list; I'm sure you've heard of a lot of these people but hopefully you'll discover someone else new that you like!

u/mandatedcourage 29d ago

No need to apologize, I have also been busy and completely understand. Thank you so much for all these recommendations, that's awesome :) I will definitely check out the ones I'm not familiar with already!

u/Motor_Quote_4520 Aug 03 '26

James from Big Time Rush!

u/Chaavva Aug 08 '26

Surprised Radiohead hasn't been mentioned yet.

Jonny Greenwood (the guitarist) also married an Israeli and has family there.

u/Ok-Boysenberry3876 Aug 08 '26

Radiohead? Not sure if they say they're Zionists but they're definitely not pro-Palestinians, maybe they're just neutral, idk :)

u/SignificantSuit3306 Aug 03 '26

Taylor Swift

u/SchleppyJ4 Aug 04 '26

In what way(s) is she Zionist?

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Is this real? I feel like she’d not be as successful

u/mandatedcourage Aug 04 '26 edited Aug 05 '26

She doesn't identify as Zionist, at least not openly. She hasn't made any anti-Israel comments despite pressure, and notably, had her wedding officiated by Adam Sandler, which is why some people think that she might be one.

Edit: Clearer language since this was originally worded poorly.

u/SchleppyJ4 Aug 04 '26

So she’s… neutral. Nothing about that says “Zionist”

u/mandatedcourage Aug 04 '26

Thank you for adding this. I should have clarified that I'm not personally referring to her as a Zionist, just stating why that commenter and others might believe that. I appreciate you making that distinction.

u/Great_Solution318 Aug 04 '26

Love her. She’s not a Zionist but some of her music especially on tloas are very Jewish coded

u/slice-general_47382 Aug 03 '26

How about the guy who got kicked out of big thief

u/Ollietheyorkie Aug 03 '26

Wait what 😭

u/Ok-Boysenberry3876 Aug 08 '26

it's a joy to hear that there's someone that used to be in big thief that supports us... i was so sad when i found out about adrianne lenker's politics.

u/Stacheshadow Aug 05 '26

Boy George?
