Simple Living Gray scale has helped me reduce time spent on my phone.
A few weeks ago I changed the color grade on my iPhone to gray scale to try something different to reduce the time I spend on my phone. I generally like to minimize 'noise' and optimize my time. It's been really helpful. I find that the all black and white doesn't allow for apps colors or logos/symbols to pop out at me and 'excite' me, drawing my attention. I didn't even realize this was a thing until I changed my phone to black and white. Also, I did delete the social media apps that I had on my phone when I changed over to gray scale as well.

This makes the phone so much less interesting. It's kind of amazing how easily a shiny, colorful object will suck us in. We're just a bunch of monkeys :).
