Let's agree to disagree .. I don't see how grabbing a bottle with no motion to attack classified him fearing his life are having to aggressively do those things .. .. so if that was ur sister and u watched that video what would your honest thoughts be ..

u/Despondent_Glitter89 5h ago

Let‘s agree that men don’t have to have a sister or a wife or a daughter to understand that a violent outburst from a minor physical altercation is NEVER justified.

u/CassianCasius 5h ago

Agreed.

Let's also agree though there are plenty of stupid  ass shitty men that don't see many women as real people and need to think in terms of mom or sister because they lack empathy  and brains.

u/Despondent_Glitter89 5h ago

Also true. Too many fucking idiots in this world.

u/doublesquealix 4m ago

true but sometimes it's the only way to make these angry morons experience the tiniest bit of empathy.

u/kytaurus 4h ago

He definitely could have walked away

u/Traditional_Bug_2046 5h ago

It's also her drink. His is the bottle. And yeah there is no way what he did wasn't overkill.

Grabbed a bottle *by the neck*. That shows an intention to use it as a weapon.

u/CantaloupePutrid3548 3h ago

You best be careful how you pick up bottles then champ.

u/MrHazard1 3h ago

You clearly don't know how fast anyone can deal serious and permanent damage with that bottle. You don't need the attack motion to start to be threatened.

u/whytewidow6 6h ago

She literally got up to hit him.

u/Terry-Scary 6h ago

Your phrasing reads like you agree with what he did because she picked up a bottle after he attacked her, she then doesn’t try to attack him with the bottle and gets attacked again.

You come off as a lil fuckwad, just letting you know

u/whytewidow6 5h ago

Well at least I'm not condoning violence.

u/Terry-Scary 5h ago

If you weren’t condoning violence you would have not entered the convo, your phrasing cadones his violence

u/DwarfWizard 5h ago

After he splashed her with the drink.

He then continued to hit and kick her when she was already down instead of walking away.

u/whytewidow6 5h ago

She tried to take the drink out of his hands. Clear as day.

u/lowercasenameofmine 32m ago

Therefore he can kick her to the ground.

And you think that's okay.

u/Traditional_Bug_2046 5h ago

It's her drink. His is the bottle. And even if it wasn't, there is clearly overkill on his part.

u/Rare-Combination7438 4h ago

Do you have a source on that, or is it just your feelings that a woman couldn't possibly be the aggressor?

u/Traditional_Bug_2046 4h ago

Well that is definitely not my feeling lol. Where's your source on that? You can watch the video yourself, and you have to be a complete moron to not be able to tell this is overkill.

u/Rare-Combination7438 4h ago

You made the claim that it's her drink. It's on you to provide a source, not me.

Want to know what's overkill? Grabbing a glass bottle (a weapon) when the other party is already actively walking away.

u/Necessary-Ad7734 3h ago

If you look it up, you can find a post on Facebook where the woman says herself it was his drink.

They’re making it up.

u/Vipertooth 3h ago

Classic

u/Ok_Masterpiece3763 2h ago

Because it’s the only hope of passing this off as anything but self defense. Women these days are fucking crazy they all want to fight and get physical. I’ve had to restrain my ex and even just doing that she tried to play the victim after assaulting me a ton.

u/FinishComplex3743 2h ago

So it was not ok for her to grab his bottle with the intent to hit him with it then right?

u/DwarfWizard 5h ago

From my understanding that was her drink. Now I don't know if thats fully true or not.

Regardless why didn't he just get up, walk away. Why escalate with a drink to the face? She barely even had a hand on the glass when he splashed her.

I don't agree with her going to hit him. But then he hits her after she misses. Then kicks her before she can even get up. When she finally gets back up she grabs a bottle and stands planted. He is the one that comes back and pushes her down. She isnt running at him. She is planted.

He is ultimately in the wrong. He hit her three times and splashed a drink in her face instead of i dunno?? Getting up and walking away.

u/Despondent_Glitter89 5h ago

So what? They’re not kindergarteners. Adults should be able to respond to offensive actions without beating the shit out of someone.

u/PeyredB 5h ago

Clear as day all right. He's completely at fault here.

u/Isthisovryet 6h ago

Just say your a b*tch who’s afraid of women 😅😘

u/BEARKIDDS 5h ago

Just a man who know I'm big enough to kill anything I hit especially a woman.. I don't think a man should ever have to hit a woman.. restrain yes hit never

u/whytewidow6 5h ago

Well I'm a woman so there's that. I'm definitely afraid of people being violent towards me. Sure.

u/Despondent_Glitter89 5h ago

But if you grab a guy’s beer, then get up and move toward him, clearly the man is justified in beating the shit out of you. Right?

u/whytewidow6 2h ago

She hit him. Literally.

u/Isthisovryet 4h ago

No I still don’t think so.
If you can restrain the person without causing further harm I think that’s always preferable.

Especially if you don’t want to look like a b*tch loser.

u/Isthisovryet 5h ago

Well then weird how you would see this video and find reason to doubt the woman?

Restraint is the word the commenter used. And it’s perfect.

You don’t kick a woman’s legs so she falls to the ground and then shove her down a second time. That’s in objectively poor taste.

Listen girl, join the girls’ team cause it’s better over here than your performative misogyny. ♥️

u/whytewidow6 2h ago

Maybe learn how to treat people before speaking to an adult. Sit down, child.

u/PeyredB 5h ago

"I just did" --whytewidow (probably)

u/lowercasenameofmine 31m ago

So kicked a woman to the ground is something you support because she went to grab a cup.

u/BEARKIDDS 5h ago

She got up to protect her self .if she wanted to hit him she would have .. hell she had the bottle but never used it . So that was more of a push me again reaction then a swinging to hit him reaction

u/whytewidow6 5h ago

Maybe don't hit people if you don't expect consequences.

u/Despondent_Glitter89 5h ago

He will learn that in jail, yes.

u/FixAcademic8187 5h ago

He gathered his stuff and was leaving, but she charged him with a glass bottle. Are you expecting him to turn his back on that? She could have easily hit the back of his head.

Also, all he did was self defense, she was the one charging at him the whole time.

Also, the drink is his. You can clearly see another glass in front of her. She was the aggressor all along.

Play stupid games win stupid prizes!

u/BEARKIDDS 5h ago

I'm expecting u to look at the right video, and show us where she charged him with a bottle ,, she got up after getting shoved to the ground . Grabbed a bottle but never charged him .. she stood at the table he came towards her and pushed her down again .. come on people facts matter in a court of law . We all are seeing the same thing well at least I hope .. I would love to see the court filing on this and what if any time/ probation he will get

u/FixAcademic8187 5h ago

Not true.

She clearly stood up, moved several steps towards him, grabbed a glass bottle and was about to swing at him. That is 100% what charging someone looks like. He couldn't turn his back at this point, he could have been hit in his head.

He was standing in his place this whole time.

u/Despondent_Glitter89 5h ago

After violently shoving her to the ground, you mean.

u/PeyredB 5h ago

She wasn't about to swing the bottle at him. She was posing as "back off!" and he shoved her by the throat anyway.

u/Cautious-Desk387 5h ago

Are you stupid???

u/PanicStricken 5h ago

Thanks for trying to be objective despite first impressions. It's hard to do. People are jumping down your throat and calling you names just for slowing down and paying attention to detail. It says more about them than it does about you.

This mob behavior shows why eye witnesses can be so unreliable, that even with video evidence, they see what they want to see and omit the rest.

I'm glad there are people left that think critically in the face of overwhelming hate.

u/Despondent_Glitter89 5h ago

Omg she was so scary! Clearly he was in danger after throwing her to the ground!

u/whytewidow6 2h ago

Correct.

u/unsolvedfanatic 5h ago

She armed herself to try to get him to back off. You can see she doesn't take a swing she just says something to him.

u/whytewidow6 5h ago

She started it. There are consequences to being violent.

u/unsolvedfanatic 5h ago

And this line of thinking is why you'll end up in jail.

u/whytewidow6 2h ago

Why would I be in jail for defending myself?

u/lowercasenameofmine 33m ago

So he pushed and kicked her.

And you apparently find that okay.
