You are right. And even MORE concerning is that NONE of the democrats are standing up to explain logically and simply just how wrong Trump is. Nobody is doing the talk show or podcast circuit: nobody with half a brain or an ounce of interest in the country’s economy and future is calling republics to explain just how bad things will be for generations if this administration isn’t stopped right now. This week. Not soon, not after or even before the midterms. This isn’t a partisan thing. This is for the benefit of the entire country’s future. Reform congress and the senate now, and anyone refusing to stand up for the good of North American economy needs to be sent to the gallows for treason.
Do you understand what a trade deficit is? A trade deficit has nothing to do with losing money whatsoever. Its merely a measurement of the balance of buying and selling to another country. Buy and sell equally = no deficit. Buys MORE than it sells to them = deficit.

But the US not losing money by trading with Europe. That’s the thing about trade, we give money to people, but they give us the goods and service services that we are exchanging the money for. That’s not a loss, that’s a voluntary exchange.
In some sense, the one with the trade deficit is getting the better deal - they are getting real goods and services in exchange for… money that they can print at will.

So the farmers that are selling crops at a loss should just not sell them at all. They are losing so much money. By not selling it, they stand to MAKE 450k. Its simple math.
