£22 of coffee pods, I didn't even see it in the recycling bin, I even waved at the binmen this morning.... FML

I even wheeled the bin down the drive.

Edit: No, I don't check my emails in the morning. I also don't look in my bins before taking them out. And normally they leave packages by the front door.

Been saving this special bottle of champagne for years to celebrate a big milestone that had been a long time coming.

It's 9am. I'm just going to go back to bed. I'm not ready for whatever the third thing is.

My friend saw a cute guy at her gym and thought I would like him. She asked him if he would be interested and he gave her his number. We have been texting for a few days and he started to seem like he wanted to plan a date. Until he hit me with the last line.

I bought the first pair in a physical store and tried them on there. They fit perfectly.
So naturally, when I decided I wanted a second pair, I ordered the exact same model in the exact same size online.

Today I finally tried on the second pair.
Yeah… no.

There is not even remotely enough room. They feel like they were made for someone two sizes smaller.
Same model.
Same size.
Completely different reality.

Then I checked the labels.
One pair was made in Indonesia.
The other was made in China.

Apparently Puma has decided that “same size” is more of a philosophical suggestion than an actual measurement.
So now I own two pairs of the same shoes: one that fits, and one that apparently belongs to a completely different human being.

10/10 quality control.

Hvac techs discovered a water leak under our bathroom. A closer look revealed not only was the tub. Improperly sealed... But the toilet flange (lack of flange) is also leaking... Because the same family friend put a piece of flex pipe under the toilet. Due to water damage becuase of shitty non professional work...The entire bathroom will need to be renovated

:( I tried draining the circuit board and leaving it both 30 minutes and overnight twice. Nothing works, it's from 2019, I am devastated.

Made a lasagna to make my day better. It is now on the floor.

I came back from a horrible day at the gym, wanted to feel better by making myself a warm meal. Thought things couldn’t get worse, but oh well.

Dropped them in the pond last night, my eye doctor is closed tomorrow for Labor Day and I don’t have another pair with the correct prescription.

Insurance isn’t going to pay to replace them.

I’m tragically blind asf and now without glasses until I can get another pair made.

Two weeks ago I had posted that a storm had come through and taken the top off of a tree and put it through my house. Rented an excavator and dumpster and been cleaning up, finally got the tree off my house. Now to pcik up all the debris. I have a gofundme going if anyone wants to help in any small way.
