3d Mode

I just got the beast and using it has been great except for the 3d mode. Why does it just look like 2 broken images that are inverted and a ton of black space in between? Is that normal?

The 3D mode can be hit/miss depending on the content. I've watched some YouTube videos on my Luma Ultra where it mostly looked awesome, with some minor weird bits here and there. But then I've watched some other ones where half of the video is glitchy and weird. I haven't really tested other sources, but I'm sure it's the same.

I've got to say its the only downside of these glasses so far. Maybe its because I fell for the hype many creators were pushing of saying turn any video into 3d. Otherwise these are awesome and im glad with my purchase

My understanding is that the 3d mode on the glasses and the 3d mode via the immersive 3d program are different. The 3d mode that you activate on the glasses is for watching side by side 3d content. The immersive 3d program running on you computer is actively converting 2d images to 3d in the computer and you need to run this program to see 3d content that is actively converted.

Try flipping the USB C jack over where it connects with your phone. Sometimes that fixes the glitch

Tried this it didnt work. Using the 3d mode in the spacewalker app is the only one that has had an actual difference

I should have noted that this still happens to me even when using the SpaceWalker app.

Abre spacewalker y en el icono de un cuadrado azul, selecciónalo y sale a compartir pantalla del teléfono, entrará en modo 3D. Yo lo he usado en la app de stremio y se ve bien. El problema que uso Samsung y el compartir pantalla no aprovecha el 100% de la pantalla de las gafas, sino aplica el tamaño de mi pantalla y por eso no me convence.

Seguramente que si lo notarás. De hecho nada más compartir la pantalla, verás las apps de tu teléfono con 3D hinmersivp, prueba a abrir YouTube, y mira vídeos con buena calidad ya que a la IA le cuesta más cuando son videos con baja resolución. Si tienes stremio/torrentio prueba a ver una película en 3D. Yo me he visto Harry Potter y es una pasada. De los tres modos disponibles en 3D Usa la primera opción, la segunda en mi caso añade demasiados artefactos y cosas raras al vídeo.

How is it for gaming? Are you still able to read texts etc? As I heard is it blurry for some

I dk notice the blurry edges people have been taking about. That said. I havent had much of an issue reading texts, I have my prescription lenses and image quality is sharp.

Nice I have the Luma Ultras and bought the Beasts from Marketplace and just waiting on a meeting with an optician to get the prescription lenses. As of now I cant really test the beasts. My eyes are both at -4+ 😅.

Will probably sell the Luma Ultras as I dont do multitasking, just movies and gaming.
