waydroid pointer lock issue on ubuntu 26.04

I just moved from fedora distro to ubuntu, but after I installed waydroid Helper for keymapper in waydroid, the pointer lock feature doesn't work in this Ubuntu, please how to solve this, previously i used fedora it worked

pointer lock on waydroid is a known mess on ubuntu, something about the wayland compositor not playing nice with the android container permissions, have you tried running the session in x11 mode instead of wayland to see if it grabs the cursor properly
