Hello some days I have a 6-7 hour gap between classes where are the best places to hunker down for a while? Is this just going to be the main library? I found a spot in Austin on the 2nd floor that also doesn’t seem too bad but wondering was else there is, campus is so big

I have found absolutely zero indie music scene here, most events feel catered to undergraduates (radio events or house shows) Are there any good bands that play in public? Boston and New Haven have good shows, but a far drive for one night.

I will have to be waiting on the street outside the capitol/ near Union station if that makes a difference

I’m currently commuting to UConn Hartford, but I’ll be dorming at Storrs next semester since I’m in the Spring to Storrs program. I really want to rush a sorority, but I’d have to drive to Storrs a lot until next semester when I dorm. I want to rush because it’s so much harder to make friends while commuting at the Hartford campus, and I feel like Greek life could help me meet people and get more involved so when I live on campus I would already have people I know and campus life would be sort of easier to handle as a spring to storrs student. I’m just not sure if I should rush because I would have to commute to storrs probably all the time during the week.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is it worth rushing now or should I just wait till the spring to do COB?

Aiming to graduate in the winter, but the last course I need to graduate is a writing course. Looked at the list of classes for winter session and it seems there are no W courses… has anyone previously taking a W course during winter session or is in a similar situation and wants to spam them to add one. I already requested them to add some but if anyone else is in a similar situation or has information let me know!!

My anticipated time of graduation was going to be Spring 2027 but I still have more credits I need so I’ll have to take those Fall 2027 and graduate then, but is there still a chance I can walk still for graduation Spring 2027?
