Anybody still rocking the old logo?

I’ve been holding off on updating the app for as long as possible simply because I refuse to let go of the old twitter logo. But the app is really starting to bug out so it might be time…

Last thing i have is 11.8, anything above that have removed the dim mode.

What update do you have? I want to know how long can i last on this? I can't DM anyone anymore, and it's asking me every few minutes to update.

I have the X app but created a short cut on my IPhone using the twitter logo from an image a got online twitter short cut on on my primary screen after the phone is unlocked the X app is the next 2 screens over visible but not used

i don’t mind it so much as i’m mostly a scroller & retweeter lol i use to be heavily active but with all the restrictions can’t really do that so in a way it brought down my screen time

Sadly I had to update a couple months ago because I couldn’t reply to anyone and photos/videos stopped showing up. I dealt with no replies but photos are the main thing I use Twitter for. I have a shortcut setup tho so I don’t have to stare at the ugly ass x logo on my home screen

I was until start of August. Phone got all weird and had to reset my phone. Despite the backup I did, it put X on instead of Twitter.

I recall it was slowing down quite a lot though and DMs kept acting strange on Twitter but was trying to hold out long as I could.

I commented this on another thread, but I still have the old Twitter app. I keep saying I’ll update to X (bc the app is slowly becoming useless. Pics won’t load, can’t reply to tweets) but I haven’t been able to pull the trigger. Not sure if anybody else has experienced this, but the Twitter app has been more functional with the last 2 weeks? I’ve been able to see more (not all) photos and videos.

I’m in a similar spot. Most photos show up as links and some replies don’t go through. Thankfully I’m more of a scroller but I feel like I’m starting to miss out on stuff bc things aren’t loading properly anymore
