Daily reminder,

Donald Trump raped children.

Then he bombed and killed 160 children. In their school. And like 270 guys in boats. Mostly fishermen.

submission statement: The FBI requested the Federal Air Marshal Service to monitor former Representative Eric Swalwell during a flight, seeking to observe his electronic device usage. This unusual request, classified as “Special Mission Coverage,” targeted Swalwell amid ongoing investigations into sexual assault allegations against him. The FBI’s actions, including the use of a civil-rights statute typically applied to law enforcement, raise questions about potential political motivations, given Swalwell’s history as a vocal critic of the Trump administration.

If Swalwell sexually assaulted anyone, it is a crime and he should be held to account legally and morally. He is already being investigated by the House Ethics committee as are/have been others. The House should also get on top of the situation with Bernie Moreno‘s son-in-law. Just because they’re afraid they will lose the House in the midterms isn’t an ethical reason not to be investigating him and his refusal to step down from his campaign. It’s not only not a good look, it also sets a precedent that the party may not wish to have turned on them in the future.

However, as someone else noted, it’s somewhat hypocritical for the current administration to use the FBI  and yet do the exact opposite regarding the president. And that instance, it is law signed by Trump himself.

Are they really still investigating? I ask because Swalwell resigned in April and isn't a member of congress.
