Also SEEEE western writers, a female character can be all 3 attractive, kind and strong, in ep. 5 of Blood War, Orihime healed from multiple fatal wounds and NEARLY killed the Final Boss.

BTW, if there's any gaslighting or rude comments or defend a FICTIONAL CHARACTER just because she's attractive, you get BLOCKED.

Also really happy that her and Ichigo got married at the end, while Rukia has Renji.

GOD, its like modern Western game companies hate making female characters attractive anymore, Insomniac looks like she work's at super market while her CoC design is PEAK Comic accuracy.

Yeah, because of her great design and tomboy personality, Yamato is easily in my top 5 favorite One Piece waifu after Hancock, Robin and Nami, I really love her Hybrid.

Toriyama/Dragon Ball has been criticized for giving lots of characters similar bodies and faces. While I think it's a little overblown, I'd be lying if I said the critique has zero validity. I myself don't like how Moro's final form makes him look less unique. The biggest exception to this is probably the Tournament Of Power. The assignment was "draw a bunch a weird different aliens" and it was passed with flying colors.

Eiichiro oda/One Piece has been criticized for giving a big chunk of female characters the same body type and face, with a lot of the exceptions being cartoonishly ugly instead. The biggest exception to this is the woman of Amazon Lily which actually have a good amount of variety (at least in the faces) without looking like trolls.

I love how he's practically a skeleton covered in disgusting, dark green goo, as well as the blue eyes around his body. It really goes to show how he became more and more inhuman from all the dead palismen he consumed to stay alive, and how the only human features he has left are his hair and teeth

Her design (first dozen slides is before the curse fully manifested when she was summoned from that point of her life) is both beautifully hot and deadly. I do like her casual outfit with the glasses, and black turtleneck sweater and jeans as well. Also Rider’s cursed form Gorgon is definitely one of the better snake like monster designs in Anime in my opinion. Being essentially a kaiju in size and power.

basically, windbreaker is an amazing webtoon sports series about where cyclists form teams to compete against each other into crazy superhuman like races, great art and cast of chars

this chick here is one of the best characters in the series, the drip most of the chars that have is, ace

the series has ended with over 500+ chaps/many seasons overall, it discontinued and ended abruptly following in 2025

I love how Scooby-Doo is just a compendium of villains. All the designs are classics & also a lot of fun in general.

My favorites are easily Space Kook in the first gif & Old Iron Face in the second gif.

Worth a mention that I think he inspired choppers different points in one piece

honestly the concept a Divergent Saiyan Species inspired by another form of primate (in this case the Japanese macaque/Snow Monkey) is FUCKING GENIUS and i love how the artist plays with the idea

from them having way bleached fur and white hair to the big red marking (as a nod to the Snow Monkey's red face when they're in a hotspring) to their head to the fact that unlike their Sadalan Cousins they have actual fur on their skin

i also like that thanks to their more wintery/Hot Spring homeworld their attire is completely different then the mainline saiyans (as in canon they renounced their armor and ties to King Vegeta and his empire) their attire is a lot more tropical esque (Idk if im describing it good) a lot less battle oriented than the canon Saiyans

overall these "Regional" saiyans are awesome and im surprised it hasn't been shown on this sub as they are honestly such a unique and awesome take on the concept of Saiyans that legit flips their main concept on their head while still having the spirit of the Saiyan still within them

Widely considered a highlight of the season, Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age has a wonderful segment featuring the largest Great Ape on record. Gigantopithecus Blacki, and does he look glorious here.

I love this depiction of Gigantopithecus for many reasons, but to talk about his design.

1. Unlike many depictions of the animal, Gigantopithecus actually looks like an in the flesh animal and not a fantasy creature or a generic bigfoot. Carefully shaped anatomy really give this guy the believability of a real animal while also maintaining the awe factor that comes with a near 10 foot ape.

2. Many designs also tend to lean too heavily into resembling Orangutan given their relations, but Prehistoric Planet manages to show the connections between the two animals in subtle ways while allowing the Gigantopithecus to remain a visually distinct creature. Both creatures possess long and droopy coats but especially of note are the similarities in facial structure such as cheeks snout and teeth. I put some notes from a paleo nerd friend I am keeping anonymous here.

Both of these points to create an incredible look for the animal that manages to be both fantastical and grounded. It is for these reasons why I think the design belongs here.

Prehistoric Planet has always excelled in the art and design department, and I believe Gigantopithecus to be one of the best designs from the show.

Jokes aside, despite his name, The Worst is literally one of the best at being the ugliest thing ever conceived.

He's obese. He has warts. His teeth are mishapen. His finger nails look like a Temu version of Wildmutts' claws. There's literally nothing cool, cute or even remotely appealing about this guy (not helped by his utility being almost zero, even the other "used as a joke" transformations like Grey Matter and Nanomech have more utility than him). And admitedly, that gives him his own charm.

Not to mention, he and the other joke aliens from his debut episode (Walkatrout, Pesky Dust, Mole-stache) serve as a reminder that the Omnitrix is meant as a tool of piece to promote harmony, not a weapon. Therefore, having guys like The Worst as opposed to a million Humungosaurs or Gravattacks is justifiable in universe.

This stands out to me as the best fan redesign of this transformation. The suit actually being an original and unique-looking Omnitrix construct matching Ben's outfit color scheme is great asthetically.

The suit also having an opening for the Omnitrix symbol attached to NRG's true form rather than having two separate symbols is genius. It manages to circumvent questions about how the transformation would work.

NRG's true form having a different design from P'andor is also pretty neat.

RREBLE is a robot designed by the protagonist of the Self-Aware Robot series as a way to defeat ELBERR, the titular out of control robot who is linked himself into a data center and is mass producing copies himself to take over the world. Despite designing multiple cutting-edge robots, the protagonist has the intellect of a couch cushion and the survival instinct of piece of dry bread. Designed to be the good version without any of the psychosis of the original, this blue version was made by the idiot main character to come up with the solution to stop the robot takeover as well as directly outsmart his deranged counterpart.

Whereas ELBERR is your traditional creepypasta-style out of control terminator, RREBLE is just ChatGPT. He has the same behaviors, mannerisms, speech patterns, and responses to being corrected. Ironically, it also makes RREBLE extremely endearing not only because it naturally weaves humor into the story but those annoying parts of normal ChatGPT discourse serve as amusing character flaws. There's something oddly comforting about RREBLE being a familiar nuisance in the bizarre world of the series.

Also calling the creature designed to overthrow the original a REBEL is clever.

"Exactly! You make a great point! I am 80% sure the virus will destroy ELBURR!

"Do you think it'll work this time?"

"Yes, I am fully confident that this version of the virus will be successful"

"Well, you sorta said that last time"

"You make a great point! I did say that last time! But this time I am certain!"

I love these two and their designs. For Krotchy I particularly love his design in Postal 2. While later games would make him look more like what he actually is, I like how 2 gives him a bit more of a vague shape, it kinda looks like a Mr. Men design which only adds to how funny it is when he speaks and you remember what he actually is. He’s a perfect symbol of the dark style of comedy Postal became known for. As for Larry I love his design in Postal 2 and how just from a look you can tell he’s the “sidekick who hates being the sidekick” type of character. His 3D version is a mod made by 237615742 and I think it’s an amazing conversion of his 2D design on the box. Overall the two of them are just great designs that fit right in for Postal (also I love the idea that the reason Larry is just walking the streets is because they didn’t want him at the promo but he’s legally obligated to stay nearby)

Love how much it change in each dungeon cause it take forms based on the symbols of each culture, and how at the beginning it was as simple as sources of food. The eyes are a nice touch to give a clear identity.

A creature that is always massive and looks out of place compared to the other characters to show that comes from a different world. Probably you wouldn't guess that it comes from dungeon meshi if you only look at the first image.

The winged lion humanoid form is probably the most divine one, so is a nice touch to keep the horns to make clear that is closer to a demon.

Space Marines that cleave closer to the weird art of Rogue Trader and early Warhammer 40,000. Less heroic space knights and more super-powered maniacs enforcing the rule of an evil imperium.

Both signs look cool. You look at them and immediately understand that something is off here. Especially the biohazard sign: the sharp points remind you of insect stingers, and sharp shapes in general evoke a sense of danger.

So disappointed that this design was just a made up story by Timber in the movie. I really love the bush hair and her stick's resembling horns of some kind and her size sales the design instantly imo. I really loved how merciful she was depicted in her first appearance in the fake story. What do you think?

You know what’s better than a dragon? A robot dragon being a transformer that gains sentience and becomes sapient. His more different design instead of being a combiner was interesting. Also being used to hunt down autobots, with his creator being Shockwave as well. A transformer dragon who’s big and powerful enough to win fights against whole groups of autobots, Optimus Prime, or almost defeat Megatron.

This might be one of the most unique Harley Quinn designs and it's not talked about enough as it should be. The 1920s flapper girl outfit looks great, being black and white kinda gives Betty Boop vibes and since she doesn't have a silver age design because she was made in the 90s this was a good choice instead of the usual court jester look, just love this design for Harley
