It's like a hostage video but worse

u/jackinsomniac 10h ago

I was gonna say Black Mirror-type shit.

u/ritikusice 6h ago

The real Black Mirror is the masses on Reddit conditioned to believe any negative video about China.

Reddit when a positive video of Chinese people: ScRipTEdAsiaNGifs

Reddit when a negative video of Chinese people: Real, Black Mirror, Dystopian!

u/YouWereBrained 11h ago

Well, she could stop at anytime, you know.

u/Satisfaction_008 11h ago

A lot of these camgirls are being exploited or blackmailed into working for people who run the cam rooms. A lot of times their lives are being threatened if they stop...

u/Complete_Fix_7073 10h ago

I believe you, I think they are in danger.

u/Boopy7 7h ago

the only way to know is if she stops, and something happens...and others do something or say something. Or people boycott the entire damn thing, ideally. Stop giving money and clicks to bullshit.

u/YouWereBrained 5h ago

This. Everyone’s speculating with some wild takes.

u/snarky_witch 8h ago

Digital pimps

u/vaime 6h ago

God, thank you for saying this, I had no idea till I hit this comment section and was genuinely like “why would you do this to yourself”

u/I_like_biscuits 9h ago

These are streamers in a stream farm.. not vampires.. hence why their dressed..

Still messed up but its a desperation for fame/success that keeps her doing it.. not gangsters/tate like monsters✌️

u/Unfair-Advice778 10h ago

I think you have the other kind of cam girls in mind.

u/DrWilliamHorriblePhD 10h ago

No, this is the same type, this is some fetish control and humiliation shit

u/Unfair-Advice778 9h ago

But is it involuntary? I'm not saying it's not, but I'm also not convinced it is, knowing some lower internet celebrities who did wild things just because they yearned for fame. They didn't even earn much off it, I think.

u/cpaljcjc 9h ago

It definitely could be what you think, but if you have never heard of human trafficking of scam compound run by Chinese in Southeast Asia, maybe you would also think of involuntary as well

u/Unfair-Advice778 9h ago

I'm not saying it's out of the question, but to me it doesn't look like the most obvious way to exploit people. A bit too creative for people earning their bread by trafficking other people.
But what do I know, based on the downvotes, I guess everyone's pretty much convinced it's the case. I just see an exhausted girl and no other facts to shed any light on the nature of this strange show.

u/spartyanon 9h ago

This type of exploitation absolutely happens. Its a very real thing. The reason why they don’t get shut down is that there is no way to know for sure who is doing something against their will or not in any specific instance. This one sure doesn’t look good.

u/_divalicious 8h ago

It happens way more than you think. Way more

u/elafave77 8h ago

Wait until you learn about 1xBet.

u/PhuGlyBastard 4h ago

Im sure it's not involuntary. Only if she wants to eat, have a roof over her head, be safe. Other than that no im sure she doesn't have to do it

u/LonelyCheeto 11h ago

How do you know? Evidently she doesn't think that.

u/Jeanne_Of_ARCadiaBay 11h ago edited 10h ago

Ya, because if she stops she doesnt get the money problem the buy as they will cancel the song chain and refund that money. They do this on Xiaohongshu as well, and then the girls get tired they cut the song. This one must either rly want the money or rly need it.

Those girls behind her look familiar from Xiaohongshu, so that might be Black Gold, but im not 100%

But i do know Black Golds polices and seen many kf there streams, this isnt a normal thing (Black Gold is the largest chinese dance agency)

u/OM3N1R 9h ago

This guy........ Uhm... Chinese livecam watches.

u/Jeanne_Of_ARCadiaBay 8h ago

Brother, please switch to ur native language or take some classes cuz no one knows ur saying

u/OM3N1R 8h ago

Lol English is my native language. It's a reddit joke.

Originating from 'this guy fucks' it has been changed to 'this guy xyz' s' when someone has an inordinate amount of knowledge on an obscure subject.

I was leaning into the joke more cause this is a realllly obscure (for western readers) subject.

I don't blame you tho. It does read very oddly if u dont know the meme.

Lesson completed. Don't forget ur homework

u/Jeanne_Of_ARCadiaBay 8h ago

The meme was clearly to powerful

u/olyjim83 7h ago

Dog you typed to instead of too after trying to get on someone's nuts about them typing funny

u/OM3N1R 7h ago

Give him a break. Clearly English isn't his first language....

u/Tall-Coyote940 8h ago

Do you just assume anyone who don’t understand immediately speaks another language?

u/Jeanne_Of_ARCadiaBay 8h ago edited 8h ago

No, i assume anyone doing ELS style English means that dont speak American English or if they are saying some weird deep space internet meme shit to go back to 4chan

  • But they replied, and said it was a LEO meme instead of deep space

u/Explorer_Creative 11h ago

The ideal economic model and government for the US. 👍

u/Sahngar 10h ago

All choices are binary

u/Blaz3dnconfuz3d 10h ago

Ohh that’s crazy I was like, can she not just walk off??

u/Jeanne_Of_ARCadiaBay 10h ago

Its very possible this length is extraorded tbh, but because its a live

Its also possible shes in debt because ppl make bad decisions

Its also possible her family is in debt and she is tryin to help them

And its possible shes just a clout demon

And these arent even all the possibilities lol

However, she probably will be reprimanded for decreasing her visual performance. Meaning that she should of course have stopped when she could have no longer kept up the entertainer facade

But unlikely anything real or actually bad will happen to her. Considering she did make them and herself alot of money

Im mostly just concerned for her health overall

u/Projectgrace 9h ago

You know she’s on a green screen, right?

u/Jeanne_Of_ARCadiaBay 9h ago

"Those that speak no words, say nothing"

So thank you for your contribution

u/Yeastereggs 10h ago

Even if she could, think about all the people that find her tortured expression entertaining.

you would be surprised what a someone would do to put food on the table

u/YouWereBrained 10h ago

So are you suggesting the government is forcing her to do this?

u/Biguitarnerd 10h ago

Not who you asked but it’s more like the government doesn’t have the employee protection and safety laws that most western countries are used to.

Whether you think that is bad or good is up to you I guess. I for one am thankful for what we do have and wish we had more.

u/rainzer 10h ago

China does have worker protection laws on paper. They are arbitrarily enforced like our corruption laws.

u/BusinessLetterhead47 10h ago

Depending on the field you work in China actually has pretty robust and enforced labor laws.

Source, I work in China and have had to file against an employer. I also have Chinese friends who have done same.

No for sure. TikTok etc is still wild west.

I'm just talking about the established/policed work force.

u/DivinerSageRDT 9h ago

And their corruption laws

u/Loughnashade 6h ago

Do you know what Mr Beast got famous for?

u/YouWereBrained 10h ago

But she’s a streamer. She works for herself, does she not?

u/Biguitarnerd 10h ago

Idk, I’m not familiar with her. I was answering based off of the other comments saying she is part of an agency and would not get paid unless she finished the stream.

u/Boopy7 7h ago

i wonder if they get healthcare or child leave or daycare etc. in China, come to think of it...I always hear how "unfree" China is compared to the US, but lately I've been noticing that people seem to feel like they don't have many options when it comes to work or time off for example

u/BuildAnything4 10h ago

God, were you guys born yesterday? There's plenty of American streamers that have stayed awake for days at a time doing ungodly shit for "subathons". This isn't your China bad moment.

u/[deleted] 10h ago

u/WonderBredOfficial 9h ago

It's a common tiktok scam. That's a green screen behind her. The girls are on a loop. The pitiable expression is part of the grift. They've found people will donate out of hate so they exploit that. "Oh, no! Please don't give me more money! That would be awful! 😞"

u/[deleted] 9h ago

u/WonderBredOfficial 9h ago

Living a sad existence by your standards. This would be a pretty great job if you like dancing and wanted to get paid to do cardio. I think a lot of people want to live the rich streamer life anyway they can, which is whatever. I've heard sadder dreams, and there are definitely worse ways of making money.

lol, now you come with the 'reasonable doubt', there wasn't any in your earlier argument. You were clearly convinced that the green screen was real people in the room with her.

You didn't make any argument worth dodging, there was just nothing else worth addressing in your comment when it was all based on your misconception.

Because the US is doing so well in that department.

u/ezekiel920 9h ago

Don't worry. The us is working to get rid of them

u/PetalumaPegleg 11h ago

How TF do you that? What a ridiculous assumption that she's doing it by choice

u/avelineaurora 9h ago

...You think it's more likely that she's being forced into slave labor on camera than an influencer is doing something stupid to themselves for clicks? Really?

u/rdtsucks 10h ago

What a ridiculous assumption that she isn’t doing it by choice.

Just because there are cases of streams and trafficking doesn’t mean that’s happening here. It is far more likely this is her choice, however dumb it is.

u/Binky390 9h ago

Not with that kind of pain on her face. Trafficking or being somehow forced actually seems more likely here.

u/rdtsucks 9h ago

Or she’s addicted to this shit. Or she chose to keep doing it and is worn out. There are many reasons, and choosing any one of them as the most likely is ridiculous.

u/Binky390 9h ago

There are but denying the most likely is more ridiculous.

u/rdtsucks 9h ago edited 9h ago

And who are you to determine the most likely?

Moreover, why is that the more obvious explanation? Forced online labor definitely exists, but it's mostly documented in scam compounds and trafficking operations, not as the default explanation for people livestreaming in China. Given how enormous China's voluntary livestreaming industry is, "they chose to do it for money" seems at least as plausible as "they were forced to do it." The fact that trafficking exists doesn't make it the most likely explanation in any individual case.

u/Binky390 9h ago

Who are you to determine what’s not likely?

u/rdtsucks 9h ago

Someone w common sense.

u/ritikusice 6h ago

Not with that kind of pain on her face.

You mean people acting? Lol

Do you watch a movie and think wow they must be real!

u/nick2473got 8h ago

Thinking she isn't doing it by choice is infinitely crazier as an assumption.

What on Earth makes you think a streamer doesn't have a choice to just stop playing this stupid donate for dance game?

u/Babybean1201 11h ago

Ridiculous? Seems like a pretty fair assumption to me, certainly not ridiculous. Has the status quo changed in society to the point that it's no longer fair to assume live streamers do so of their own volition?

u/Bread_Godd 10h ago

Yes dude there's a massive human trafficking industry built around streams

u/avelineaurora 9h ago

Citation needed.

u/nick2473got 8h ago

Unless you have evidence that a significant percentage of streamers have been coerced or trafficked into the industry, it is not rational to assume that a streamer has been trafficked just because they're doing something dumb and unpleasant in exchange for money.

u/Babybean1201 10h ago

Hey. I don't doubt that it's "massive" in that it shouldn't be anywhere near as big as it is. But just from a very cursory AI search online, the % of coerced streams vs legitimate live streams is effectively 0%.

Yes I'm sure you'll laugh that I used AI, but I'm no invested enough in this argument to invest dozens if not hundreds of hours to get what I assume would be a very insignificant % more accuracy in estimation.

Now if you have actual sources that show it's closer to 50% I would love to see it and would start humoring the idea that the status quo has indeed changed. Otherwise, I'm going stick to my stance that the assumption that this clip is not evidence of human trafficking is indeed the more rational take.

In fact, if I AM ridiculous in making this assumption, surely you've already contacted interpol about this clip right?

u/Bread_Godd 9h ago

Get your point, no it's not even close to most. But even 1-2% is millions and millions of people/dollars.

u/Babybean1201 9h ago

In the most respectful way possible, if you understand my point, what is the point of your statement? It's not a point of contention.

u/Bread_Godd 9h ago

Idk man what's the point of yours lmao, it's not ridiculous to think she might be there unwillingly if it happens to millions and millions of people. You're on a semantics crusade.

Btw my 3 second ai search had a lot of information on it so idk 🤷

u/Babybean1201 7h ago

My point was that it's not absurd to assume the status quo (that's it's not a case of human trafficking). You said you understood that point, which makes this conversation superfluous.

It's not a semantics crusade to point out a person's non sequitur.

u/Babybean1201 7h ago

It seems you're conflating my positions with thinking it's ridiculous to think she might be there unwillingly.

I'm saying it's completely rational to think her live stream is of free choice, not that it's irrational to suspect there could be foul play. They are not mutually exclusive. This seems to be the disconnect and where your non sequitur comes in. I guess semantics do matter.

u/Friendly_Seat8566 10h ago

Hi, I have an incredibly narrow view on life based on my own experience. If I haven't experienced it, it must not exist and there fore everyone else is wrong. Oh BTW fuck empathy. I'm out. /S because you apparently have to state sarcasm.

u/Babybean1201 10h ago

Me challenging the assumption of status quo does not mean that I deny the existence of anything that does not fall within it. Ironic that I have to elaborate on that considering your tantrum about having an incredibly narrow view based on one's life experiences and then feeling the need to insult my intelligence by citing the necessity of using /s.

u/cheaplabourforsale 10h ago

Have you been living under a rock these last 20 years?

u/Babybean1201 10h ago

Because I think it's more likely this clip is ploy for money not involving human trafficking? Enlighten me. I assume you can't since you lead with an insult rather than bothering to educate someone who in your opinion is genuinely ignorant to what I would think is a rather important state of crisis if true.

For example, if I want to make a difference in the world and to educate people who are ignorant of climate change, my first response wouldn't be to call them an idiot.

u/cheaplabourforsale 9h ago

I enlighten you to the fact that a ploy for money and human trafficking are not mutually exclusive, quite the opposite, really.
You think of it only as girls tied together in a shipping container when most of it is predatory contracts, shady business practices and blackmailing.
Something talent agencies have traditionally been inclined to and they discovered streaming a long time ago.

u/nick2473got 8h ago

So since you think trafficking is likely here, you've obviously contacted authorities about this clip, right? Right?

u/cheaplabourforsale 8h ago

did you read anything above?

u/Babybean1201 9h ago

Didn't need enlightening. Strawman fallacy. I made a point below that a quick AI searched showed human trafficking as a % based on live streaming is effectively 0%.

Before you strawman again, no I don't think AI is 100% reliable, but it's a decent start with very little effort. If you have empirical data to the contrary, be my guest.

u/cheaplabourforsale 8h ago

Did you…..just try to call strawman because you had another discussion below where you said something else i did not answer to? Don’t you think that’s ironic? You obviously regard yourself as insanely important but don’t you think taking for granted i’d go over your comment history is a bit much?
The problem with asking the AI isn’t accuracy, but that you don’t know how it came to that conclusion and what data it even had.
So not at all something that refutes what i said above. It technically being on a more or less legal contract or involving getting paid doesn’t mean it’s not human trafficking, not to mention that what’s “legal” and how the crime is called when it’s not changes drastically from place to place.

u/Babybean1201 7h ago edited 7h ago

It technically being on a more or less legal contract or involving getting paid doesn’t mean it’s not human trafficking

This is the strawman. I've made no such assertion. I've denied it once, and you're continuing to suggest it's my position. It is not.

you think taking for granted i’d go over your comment history is a bit much?

Another strawman

So not at all something that refutes what i said above.

Why the hell would I refute a strawman argument? lmao

Just so we're clear. I have no reason to refute a position that I did not take, a position that YOU made up for me. I agree, that human trafficking is not limited to the position you claim to think I have. That being the case, live stream cases resulting from human trafficking with the correct definition is as AI show me, 0%.

Therefore I don't think it's absurd to assume that the clip is NOT a result of human trafficking. I acknowledge that AI has not given me any sources, but neither have you. At this point in time, I am more willing to believe AI because it resonates with my gut feeling about the situation. If you have ANY empirical data that shows human trafficking live streams consists of more than 0.001% of streams as ai claims. I will happily take a look.

Just to be extra clear, even if the data shows that it's 1%, 2%, or even 10%. I still would not think it's absurd to assume otherwise since 90% is VASTLY more likely than 10%. You follow?

u/moneyh8r_two 10h ago

Yes, actually. Unironically, yes. At least in some parts of the world. There's lots of stories about Chinese livestreamers working in cubicle farms, playing popular games and streaming at the behest of some "talent agency" that lets them keep a small percentage of what they earn. They'll have like, 100 streamers working in cubicles in the same building to earn enough bits to add up to real money.

u/Babybean1201 9h ago

Sure, and correct me if I'm wrong, non of those equate to human trafficking right?

u/moneyh8r_two 9h ago

The human trafficking happens before they get there.

u/Babybean1201 9h ago

Do you have data supporting a significant % of live streams resulting from human trafficking? From a quick AI search, it's effectively 0%.

u/moneyh8r_two 9h ago

Are you fucking serious?

u/Babybean1201 9h ago

Thought we were approaching a civilized discourse. I guess not. If you want people to accept everything you say at face value and tell everyone else to fuck off, you're speaking to the wrong person.

u/SeekFire7 10h ago

So you are well informed about her financial situation and the reasons for it I assume?

u/YouWereBrained 10h ago

No, and neither is anybody else. These videos are posted just to create bullshit engagement.

u/SeekFire7 9h ago

Even if this was not overtly coerced (which we don’t know but is a reasonable conclusion), we do not know what financial crisis that her (or possibly her family) may be facing that caused so much desperation that she felt she needed to do this. Further, somebody responsible should have tried to stop it. With so many people watching and it looks like people were there with her, somebody should have spoke up. I find it unsettling that nobody tried to stop this, which leads me to deduce that it was, at least on some level, a coerced act.

u/plsdonth8meokay 9h ago

Have you heard of human trafficking???

u/YouWereBrained 8h ago

Have you heard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt?

u/CorrectMulberry994 7h ago

How do you know that?

u/loopasfunk 6h ago

This is the new human trafficking

u/karebearjedi 9h ago

Bless your naive heart that you think that any girl in that video was there voluntarily

u/OsmanFetish 11h ago edited 9h ago

a real hostage crisis , times are tough, and dystopic if you are held hostage akin a dancing robot

initially I believed this was of her own will , but comments have explained otherwise

it's even worse if it's an agency wtf

u/PetalumaPegleg 11h ago

Yeah dude it's really fun to make fun of desperate people. You have no idea what her life is. There are way too many trafficked girls online to assume this is her own desire and make wisecracks.

u/RockstarAgent 11h ago

Don’t worry it was done on a black mirror episode already- everything is fine!

u/Alwaysfresh9 11h ago

Pulling a tooth is next! Then...you know.

u/tigm2161130 11h ago

It’s the same way people don’t realize a large number of Indian phone “scammers” are being trafficked. Yes, it’s annoying but a large number of those people are working in abject slavery and don’t really have a choice.

u/OiJimmy1 10h ago

Fuck those cunts

u/tigm2161130 7h ago

Fuck them for being trafficked?

u/Ancient_Weakness699 10h ago

Ok, so what do you want me to do about it?

u/PathansOG 10h ago

Awarness is a good start

u/Fanhunter4ever 11h ago

You have no idea either, and since its her streaming an she is getting money, i asume she is doing int because she wants

u/Bread_Godd 10h ago

Bold of you to assume she gets the money

u/Fanhunter4ever 10h ago

Well, bold of you to assume she doesn't. We have the same info about this and i read (and i guess you too) about influencers that do stupid things for money and even die livestreaming, like the guy in france

u/FatiguedShrimp 11h ago

This is apparently through an agency called Black Gold.

It's not entirely voluntary (confirmed) and there are trafficking allegations (more difficult)....

u/grumpi-otter 10h ago

That was my question, and what percentage does she get to keep? Sickening.

u/OsmanFetish 10h ago

it's 100% this and it's very sad

u/AmbassadorAny8200 10h ago

Definitely does

u/Vitis_Vinifera 5h ago

this is a completely different world than what I live in, but I'm going to assume she's free to stop doing this whenever she wants, or is there someone offscreen with a gun pointed at her head, Squid Game style?

u/PetalumaPegleg 3h ago

Who knows man. There are certainly plenty of people who are being forced but we have no idea if she is or isn't.

u/Fanhunter4ever 11h ago

Its her streaming, she can end it when she wants. She is just greedy an wants more gifts

u/PetalumaPegleg 11h ago

Dude you embarrassing yourself with your lack of basic knowledge man.

u/Fanhunter4ever 11h ago

Sure. And you know better... Dude
