I’ve been listening to Abel’s music since around mid 2014 and he’s been my favorite artist ever since. Last weekend i was able to see him live for the first time in Madrid and now again in Lisbon a week after. And to see and hear him perform most of my favorite album live was truly special 💚

came across this tee from the Harajuku pop up store collection which features Abel's graphic wearing Mecha suit with the tour mask he is using for the Latam and European leg, made me wonder if thats the outfit for the Asian leg or atleast exclusive for shows in japan?? i know for some it might sound ridiculous but Abel once wore a robotic arm for LATAM leg in the past so nothing is far off the radar

Like we got people over here complaining that he started playing kiss land songs at the last shows, like yes mf, he's teasing the Asia leg chill the fuck out.

Till this day. “My Dear Melancholy,” I was going through a breakup during that period and this project came in such a good timing for me. A huge plus was also the visuals, the narrative, the art of that era and the fact that Abel was the most open and vulnerable he ever was not showing himself as a “fuck all you hoes, Toronto till I die motherfuckers” and more like “oh shit, that bitch actually hurt my feelings wtf”

i’ve been on this sub for ages now and recently it’s gotten so freaking insufferable you lot would’ve never survived being here pre hurry up tomorrow.

people have this weird moral high ground over the littlest things and then have the ‘it’s not that deep’ attitude towards issues that DO require a moral high ground.

for example this whole kissland thing, people are allowed to be like ‘damn why didn’t he preform this when i went?’ 😭 some people ARE taking it too far but most of it is joke annoyance not genuine hatred and if it is genuine hatred THATS when it becomes a problem but goddamn it’s the weeknd subreddit, where people express their thoughts and opinions, why are there people trying to police what people say?

and a while ago i saw a post about lamar saying some colourist things on twitter back in the day and i was genuinely shocked at the response i saw ‘it was 14 years ago, why are we talking about this?’ ‘not that deep’ like oh okay so that’s where you don’t want to have a superiority complex.
