Spoilers Through Season 6 What happened to the little girl a her brother? Spoiler
Did I wasn’t paying enough attention, but at the end of Season 6, we see the little girl and her younger brother heading into the forest, but then we never hear anything else about them… in the TV series.
Without any spoilers, do we get more information about them in Book 6?

All Show & Book Spoilers Discussed Freely Reaction videos Spoiler
I've lost track of the number of times I've watched the series, and now that I own the Blu-ray set and ripped them to my NAS, they're available anytime, anywhere. But I do sometimes miss that feeling of watching for the first time. The other night the YT algorithm decided to hit me with a channel where someone does a live reaction video and...it's been really fun following her along. Part of me wants to be like "just WAIT until you see how right/wrong you really were!" but part of me is kinda fascinated at some of the gaps that the viewer just kinda has to fill in. Some of it (like "what's an XO?") are things that are general to military thrillers but some of it feels like the first three or four episodes could be confusing if you hadn't read the book. It makes me wonder if the first few episodes maybe suffered from an attempt to cram in a lot of stuff happening all over the solar system without the benefit of exposition you get in the book. (Not to mention every new series takes a few episodes to find its footing and this one is no exception.) What do you all think? I'm especially curious for people who watched the series without having read the book first. I've heard if you aren't familiar with the books, you kinda have to push through the first few episodes before things really get going, and that can be a barrier to entry for some people.

All Show & Book Spoilers Discussed Freely I am also sad Spoiler
Like many, I am also sad as I just finished reading all 9 books in the Expanse series. The amazing exhilarating highG dopamine ride is over. How can I survive the withdrawal now? Hahaha 🥲
But I am extra sad because the ring space has been finally destroyed at the end. I was hoping so much that the story will leave it intact and expand more on the ring entities. Their history and how they ended up inside the ring wormhole space, their society why they are so much against ring builders and heavy energy/mass transits.
Anyway, it was quite a ride! Definitely the best modern sci-fi in my own humble opinion!
I just now started reading Foundation series by Asimov to scratch the itch again! Hahaha 😂 If you have any Expanse like recommendations, please let me know.
Edit: Oh the show was also soo well done! Big fan of soo many characters.... especially Drummer and the lady who says "too bad too sad" after they kill Fred Johnson.
And, why they had to kill off Alex 😭

Fan Art & Cosplay | Spoilers Through Season NUMBER / BOOK TITLE UNN Models
The Expanse is my favorite series. I would love to have a collection of the UNN ships we see in the show as they are my (in my opinion) the best looking and most interestingly designed. Are there any companies that sell large high-quality models of the UNN's ships? Are am I going to have to 3D print and paint them myself? (I have never done this before). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Leviathan Falls Sliding along the membrane… (epilogue from LF) Spoiler
Hello. How do you understand this passage?
Thirty-one days, eleven hours, forty-three minutes, and twenty-seven seconds had elapsed for his homeworld while Marrel and the twenty-nine other souls on board the Musafir existed only as energy and intention sliding along the membrane between universes?
Do you understand this as a membrane between our universe and Goths’ universe? Or more universes? Daniel Abraham said they didn’t mean to suggest multiverse, so I guess that settles it, but still, curious to hear your opinion!

All Show & Book Spoilers Discussed Freely Question for those who read the books. Spoiler
To start, hope I picked the right flair. [Vague Spoilers for the TV show Season 3 & 5]
I've watched the series several times but have not read the books, however I don't care about book spoilers, so don't worry about things there.
Thoroughly enjoy the show... 90% of it at least. While I like all the main cast, overall my least favorite character is Naomi due to her actions and genuinely feel they could have just swapped for another engineer type character after she left to go back to the belt. She was great in Season 1 & 2, less so in seasons 3 & 4... but Season 5 is a major slog with the annoying Phillip story, while mostly everyone else has compelling and interesting storylines.
My question is, as I plan to read the books and related material at some point, is all of what's shown in the series with the Phillip plot in the books or was it added for TV drama? If it is part of the books, can it be easily skipped (specific chapters etc)?

All Show & Book Spoilers Discussed Freely So after a tasteful delay, are future seasons a possibility? Spoiler
Considering the time jump between books 6 and 7, on the surface it would seem plausible that books 7-9 could still be produced after a chunky but not too chunky number of years. But then I read here yesterday that the abrupt change that was made to the Alex storyline at the end of season 5 makes producing the last three books almost impossible.
I haven't read what comes after book 6 yet, so avoid the details, but is this true? And beyond the narrative challenges, is more Expanse realistic from a ratings/profits standpoint? I loved the show, the world, the characters, but if that dog won't hunt, I'm a big boy and I'll put down the hopium.
So to those wiser than me, are future seasons or a movie just a pipe dream, or could it realistically take place with a strong push from fans and timely/creative financing?
Edit: Some replies are kinda spoilery, so procede with caution.

Props & Set Dressing | Spoilers Through Season 1-6 Blue Origin crossover Cast & Crew memorabilia jacket
I worked on The Expanse series as a VFX Artist/CGI Engineer. To celebrate completing the last season of the series, we were gifted a special cast-and-crew memorabilia crossover jacket.
After Syfy cancelled The Expanse in 2018, Jeff Bezos personally announced that Amazon would pick up the series, bringing it to Amazon Prime Video. Bezos is also the founder of Blue Origin, the private spaceflight company.
Then, The Expanse cast and creative team later visited Blue Origin, where the worlds of real-life spaceflight and the series' vision of humanity's future in space came together.
I am selling this exclusive piece of The Expanse series history.
I would love what I am asking for it, but I will take the best offer.

Leviathan Wakes Song with strong Miller vibes
The song is Steve McQueen by Nick Cave.
So I’ve been a Nick Cave fan for a long time, and recently I started watching the show. By the end of the Miller arc, I had this song playing in my head for no apparent reason. I turned it on, you know, just to get rid of that itch in the back of my head, and realized that this song is literally Miller’s soundtrack, like, in a poetic way.
Especially these lines:
“Bang, bang, bang, I'm that kinda guy”
“Watch out, you fuckers
I've got my six shooter and my housefly on a lead”
“I'm Steve McQueen, the atrocity man
With my strap-on blood bomb dream”
“Call me a cab, and I'll drive to the top of the Burj Al Arab
And fire my guns across your stomach”
“But mostly I curl up inside my typewriter
With my housefly and cry
I tell my housefly not to cry
My housefly tells me not to die”
The song explores his violent complicated nature, when in fact he’s just a vulnerable, lonely man with suicidal tendencies. The housefly in the song may represent Julie Mao - someone distant on whom Miller projects his longing for belonging and connection.

All Show & Book Spoilers Discussed Freely David Hewlett chats with Cara Gee (Camina Drummer)
Drummer is my favorite character, and it's rare to see Cara Gee anywhere since she doesn't seem to have any social media accounts. I love this chat. She's so unlike Drummer, it's giving me a whiplash, though 😅

Not yet started The Expanse! | Background Info Only Has anyone been waiting on the action figures? Spoiler
Ignore the flair. I've read all the books and seen the whole show, but no spoilers for others, please.
I'm wondering if they're even going to release. The date got pushed back like 6 months at some point. It seems like a bit of a financial risk at this point? Or maybe I'm underestimating the fan demand for a plastic Avasarala. I'd pay $100 easy for one with a voice clip that curses.
It's a shame they'll never do Alex, but nobody wants any likeness royalties going to that dude. I'd love to have definitive figures for the core crew, and I can't afford a custom.

Fan Art & Cosplay | All Show & Book Spoilers Linocut of Drummer's Fleet! Spoiler
galleryI don't think I've met a fan of this series who doesn't love Camina Drummer and Cara Gee's performance in the TV adaptation. I'm also polyamorous myself so I extra-extra-love Drummer and her family.
I wanted a gag-style sticker for my laptop, and I love doing spacecraft art so I used the official art of Drummer's fleet as a ref, traced it, turned it into a silhouette. I ended up using a soft speedball block to better-transfer the pencil smudge imprint. Usually I work on mounted linoleum but image transfers that aren't drawings are a pain on those. It worked out pretty well, I prefer the finer cuts on mounted linoleum but I'm happy. I also did a bicolor one that has a motion blur effect as if the perspective is from a ship moving slower or stationary to the ships.
I captioned it "polyamory in spaceeeee" and did some lettering of it and used packing tape and a USPS sticker to seal it onto all onto my laptop.
Anyways, proud of the piece and wanted to share it! Images include the prints, but also the silhouette rendition, image transfer, and the finished block.

All Show & Book Spoilers Discussed Freely Killjoys and the expanse. Spoiler
It’s my day to ask Reddit about the expanse. I think that the expanse and killjoys overlapped. Did anyone start watching the expanse (non book readers) because of the killjoys and some superficial similarities?

Leviathan Wakes Question about tensions between the belt and Mars (Spoilers Leviathan Wakes) Spoiler
So I’m going through the books for the first time now and trying to understand the complex landscape between all these powers. I understand in broad strokes why the inner planets and the belt have issues between them and the overall oppression felt by belters from the inner planets, but why specifically was war brewing between mars and the belt before the events of the book and the destruction of the Canterbury and the Donnager? It seems like everyone was waiting for something to spark a war before the events of the book even began, like Mars and the belt had already been a massive political powderkeg, and while the same racism kinda applied to Earth from the belters, it doesn’t seem like Earth itself was on the precipice of some huge conflict like Mars was.
Can someone explain what it was that caused the tensions between the belt and Mars to be so volatile as the first book is beginning? I’m only a little past a third way into the first book but I just want to have a better understanding as I continue reading as I’m afraid I may have missed some important background while reading.
