Serious Remove English Only Post Restriction ✊

Post image
Upvotes

We observed the oppressive colonial rule no. 3 and started raising our voices against it. Unfortunately, the progressive task of removing such language restriction was met with reactionary opposition from the people mostly from non-hindi regions. They raised vital questions regarding the practicality of this very specific demand motivated by the feeling of being isolated among hindi posts which they won't be able understand. Furthermore, questions regarding moderation of this community was raised from the Moderators alongside it as well. Although, India, being a diverse country, presents enormous opportunity for language usage - it finds its limitation quickly by the limited ability of her people to comprehend and communicate in each and every others' language. The moderators wanted to tackle this problem through "Only English" rules, but unknowingly gave birth to another problem. Non-English speakers especially from comparatively backward areas are exempted from participating in this pretty diverse yet united subreddit. Whenever, we raised the previous point we were met with another kind of opposition namely "Everybody in reddit knows English" group. To tackle their argument we presented an hypothetical analogy. Blind from their ignorance, they couldn't see that there are only english posts cause moderators only allowed them while restricting other posts. After being confronted with previous argument they quickly disguised themselves like the former opposition. We have to agree, though reactionary in nature, their point of argument is *VALID* and needs further thinking from our side as well. Despite of the presence of functioning subreddits with no language restrictions, the fear of being isolated by non-hindi speakers and the possibility of the formation of fragments withing this community (of regional language) can't be overlooked by us as we don't want to breed another problem while trying to genuinely solve one like the *incompetent moderators* (who put language restriction without even taking consideration of the members who either willingly or by no choice would prefer other language over hindi). So, we hereby giving a suggestion to remove "English only post title rule" and replace it with "Advice to put english translation along with the title(in whichever language)". We are completely aware of the fact that the incompetent moderators won't take notice of our justified and well thought demand, hence we are inviting our fellow members to actively critic and find out flaws in our demand, and after fulfillment of their scepticism provide us support.

Thanking fellow members and cursing the moderators ✊🔥

Relationships Sometimes I just feel like .....

Upvotes

18M , recently joined college

Okay so I m one of those guys who never had any gf/ female friend just a little bit talk with classmates that's it.

Only reason of it was i always remained in a group which wasn't in these things like girlfriend and all ( I m not saying that this is bad this has it's own pros and cons) and another reason was that I was always scared to approach girls even though they r same as us only.

Now as I m in college I see people hanging around with their gf and female friends and I don't even know how to talk to any girl ( not even classmates i find it really awkward)

And what's even worse is all my friends here have girlfriends like mostly of them have gf from start of 9/10th.

Altho I m not jealous at all but sometimes I just feel like if I had a one who would care about me , who would listen to me about my whole day and so will i . How good would that feeling be , i wanna experience that 😓

I m a way better listener than speaker but sometimes I just want someone with whom I could share everything.

That was it probably the help I would ask u is just tell me how to u guys talk to girls and like once u initiated what do u even talk about ( pls write something)

Also girls reading this post pls tell what do u expect from a guy like idk how to explain but yh ..

Also where do I get girls cz i don't like anyone in my class and in our grp ( 8 class combo its pretty hard to talk with anyone else as same class sits together)

Everyone in the twenties India is so retarded they don’t know shit yet act like they do and will lecture you like 60 year olds and when they’re loosing an argument they will defend themselves by saying “well I’m older than you and you’re younger than me so obviously you lack something called “critical thinking” so obv I know much better than you because I’m few years older than you 🤡” 🫩
