BeyondTheBox: Student/Educ Pricing

Hello!

So context 2 Beyond The Box napuntahan ko kasi may poster sila about the Educ Pricing ng Macbooks nila.

Based sa posters nila eh sabi "Ask in store about student pricing."

So i went in and asked them.
And sagot sakin ng crew sa Market2 branch eh wala daw silang ganong promo?
So sabi ko eh ano yung poster niyo na nakapaskil?

Tas nagiinsist siya na wala daw silang ganong promo or discount.

Lumabas akong confused and naasar kasi ayaw lang ba nila ako pagbentahan based sa itsura ko? (Separate issue yung nagproprofiling ata sila based sa suot mo - mapa powermac or btb stores)

Soo lumipat ako sa BTB Uptown Mall branch, so ayon may poster din sila about student discount with a tag line "Ask in store about student pricing."

So pumasok ang naginquire ako.
Ang sagot sakin ng crew eh wala daw silang promong ganon?
At Power Mac at The Loop lang daw ang meron.

So sabi ko? Eh ano ba yan poster niyo? Nakapaskil pa sa labas niyo?

So naginsist nanaman na wala daw silang ganon?
So sabi ko bakit kayo nagpoposter kung di naman pala totoo?

Report this to apple support. Mahigpit sila sa mga ayaw mag honor ng student discount. These are official apple retailers/partners, which means they have to comply sa student discount / pricing ni Apple.

We got our Macbook Neo sa Power Mac SM North using a student discount. Wala naman naging problema, nag ask lang ng student ID.

They shouldn't post anything like that if they don't have any offer related to it (kahit hindi same sa powermac). The poster implies na may student pricing sila, regardless of whatever the pricing may be haha.

They have a similar poster to that as a promo in their FB page last June (though wala yung label about student pricing). From the looks of it, their offer is just a listed "cash price" which was already equal to the regular price of said device back then when you buy it sa Apple website.

might as well order online from the official Apple Education Store website. They have different pricing for students. last i checked makabili ka na ng ipad with pencil for the original price

Letche talaga yang BTB na yan ang sasama ng ugali ng mga nasa stores na nagtitinda maga judger ang hayop. Wag na kayo bumili dyan power mac nalang

Ah, ive never tried availing their student promo pa sa Beyond the box pero when I availed it back then, sa power mac ako & tinaggap naman

Apple offers better educ discount vs authorized distributors like these. Ang cons lang mejo matagal shipping. 2 weeks min, 4 weeks max.

You’re better ordering sa mismong Apple website (which is based sa Singapore for SEA, IIRC). Di sila nainform about the promo at basta lang naglagay ng poster.

Same nung bumili ako iPad air M4 last june, sabi nila discounted na raw yung prices nila (kahit hindi) wala raw student discount na promo😆 bumili na lang ako sa kanila ng Pencil Pro and sa ibang store bumili ng iPad

depende po sa product. for example, ang macbook neo regular price is 49,990. pero sa education store, 42,990 na lang

2x na ko nakapag-avail ng educ discount sa Megamall. Afaik piling branches lang nag hohonor, kasi naalala ko tumawag ako sa mga branches na malapit sa akin and hindi daw sila nag hohonor ng educ discount. Sa Mega nila ko pinapupunta.

About naman sa mga posters, baka lahat ng Apple stores pinadadalhan nyan - pero I agree na kung wala silang educ discount sana di na pinapaskil yan.

Mejo dissapointed me when I tried to get the discount at another store, need pala full cash payment to get the discount. As a student san ako makaka kuha cash, kaya ayun di na ako nag get ng student discount kasi need ko installment for my ipad

Just avail student discount at Powermac!! Nagtanong din kami dati sa Beyond the Box greenhills ang sabi sa amin mga Powermac lnag daw nag carry ng educational discount kaya naman sa Powermac na talaga kami bumili.
