At first glance, I thought it was a very extravagant set of curtains.

Speaking of curtains. They’ve hung the wrong pair on each window in one of the bedrooms!

I don’t know if I’d trust their dress abilities.

That poor curtain didn't deserve to be hung so carelessly

Why didn't they swap the blue ones in the bedroom? They would have fit much better.

Fluffy shower one.

Either a dressmaker or a small bridal salon, the pink sofas do seem like a waiting/viewing area

A modern day Miss Havisham?

Including the land it comes with, that house is a steal quite frankly.

One acre is not enough to keep horses. Add five more and it would be a dream property.

someday my Prince will come.... by crikey, she'll be ready!

Several years ago my daughter's friend lived here. I dropped her off several times.

Reckon she collects them?

Maybe she’s a, er… I’m not sure what the proper word is. Seamstress? Tailor? Dress designer? Something like that is my bet.

A black widow?

They call her a "seamstress", hem hem.

The Turtle moves.

A needlewoman?

That's a lovely place, just might be a bit too close to the A38, but otherwise, there's a lot to like there.

Ooh wedding dresses

u/Connect-Lettuce4027 19h ago

It's Stacey from Gavin and Stacey's she kept the wedding dresses. My favourite is the one from the Achmed wedding.

I'd say the owner is a dressmaker. They all have tags on them (presumably with the list of adjustments!)

"And this is the dress I wore after divorce number eight. And this is the dress I wore for my fourteenth and, hopefully, final wedding. I'm so lucky to have Mehmet in Marmaris on my most recent Saga Holiday."

So many failed weddings...

A serial marryer

Scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

Guess she owns a bridal boutique? Or is a bridal seamstress?

u/fireykimchi 12h ago

Finally a house I would like.

I immediately thought serial killer that likes to dress as a bride. Been watching too much true crime...

Thought that seemed cheap for Chudleigh, then saw it's sat on the A38... Noisy AF.
