Try instagram and tik tok. Those are magazines on crack, perfectly modeled for each individual Viewer and available literally all the time everywhere with new content.
Some women can't tell the difference between the attention you give to a girl you brag to your mates abiut, and the attention you give the girl that your brother/sister knows about.
To them getting all those likes and messages makes them think they can catch anyone they want, when reality is 99.9% of that attention has a very limited timespan, usually 1 night.

I suspect there's more than a few coffee table magazines that raise levels of expectation to unreasonable levels.
