Someone asked for Sanity Sundays, which we’re denying because this sub isn’t the right place for it.
Instead we created a sister sub for all the good shit that goes down in mom groups. We’re gonna cross post the wholesome stuff from here while we wait for original content to start being posted. Enjoy.

Occasionally, we’ll have posts come in that discuss CSA (child sexual assault). A lot of our content is usually mid-level terrible parenting, but CSA, and the posts that end up here discussing it, are the worst of the worst.
From a mod perspective, this kind of content isn’t something we’ve wanted to allow. It’s awful, and often highly triggering for readers. Usually, we will mark it as NSFW and add a spoiler, so users have to actively view the content. We’ll also pin a mod distinguished/ top level comment with a very brief TW/CW/TLDR. However, because we don’t want to encourage or have a way for it to be searchable or easily found on the sub, we have avoided creating a flair for these posts.
We had a post today that was probably one of the worst CSA posts we’ve allowed. (And I say allowed because every post on the sub requires mod approval before it’s posted. This has ensured most of our content doesn’t break any of our rules and increases the over quality of the sub in general.) The post brought up the question again, so we want to get some group consensus.
Moving forward, should we:

If you’re wondering what the unemployed losers you went to high school with are doing these days, they’re sharing “informational” anti-vax nonsense on Facebook 🤪

My local Mom group admin is your typical antivax, homeschooling, Trumpster on a power trip. She didn't want to accept me into the group at first because my last name isn't English. I hate it here

I know it can take a couple of days for jaw pain to become a symptom but to play this fast and loose with possible tetanus is just insane. The comment section was as expected, "just do vit C and he'll be fine" and "if a wound bleeds you can't get tetanus." These people are idiots.
Just a friendly reminder, you can still get a Tdap shot within 48 hours of an injury if you're out of date and be protected. I stepped on a rusty nail a while ago, it went through my croc and left a deep puncture. I realized my last Tdap was when I was pregnant 10 years ago so I ran up to the pharmacy and got a booster. It's cheap/free and really easy. Don't get tetanus, it's a terrible way to go.

My algorithm wasn’t spamming me with this depressing garbage until today. This poor baby.
Also the grammar - woof.
Fortunately the comments were not favorable to OP.

Yes I’m aware they don’t generally vaccinate babies for bacterial meningitis but not getting other vaccines likely is what caused them to be in the PICU

Considering they are listening to what other people are telling them.

Idk why I keep making myself mad by joining these groups. I want the content for here but I’ve been banned from 3 of them now because eventually I have to open my mouth. I’m zucced right now so it stopped me from commenting 😂

Based on prior post history, her son most likely has a genetic disorder and was a preemie. Other posts mention spinal surgery and intestinal surgery, both for reasons that would not be caused by a true vaccine injury. He's had brain bleeds prior to this.
