POST GAME THREAD: Los Angeles Sparks at Seattle Storm
Post game thread for Los Angeles Sparks at Seattle Storm
Date: Sunday, Aug 30, 2026 - 2:00PM
** Coming up on Thursday, Sep 17, 2026: Believe in Women**
The Storm’s annual Believe in Women Night is on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 pm against the Las Vegas Aces. During halftime, four leaders from the community will be honored and presented with a donation to a nonprofit of their choice to support their ongoing work. Selected by Storm players and staff, the beneficiaries are members of the community who are driven by their shared philosophy that women and girls should have the chance to succeed at every level, no matter their race, ethnicity or gender. The Believe in Women merch collection is designed by Esmeralda Vasquez, a Yakima-born and Seattle based muralist, who uses each piece of fabric to weave different cultures, communities and identities together.

Storm looked awful. To be fair, it was tough without Natisha and Awa. The Storm were low energy, got down by 20, closed to a 10-point deficit, and then lost by around 20.
FJ and Zia had energetic moments. Dom really needs to work on her low-post game in the offseason. And hopefully we aren’t talking about Dolson and Melbourne next year 🙄

Yeah this was one of the rougher watches. They just look so un-cohesive as a team. I'm very much with you about moving on from Dolson and Melbourne.

This was such an embarrassing game. It wasn't even like we got out-played. We just made endless stupid mistakes.
