Hello to all my friends in the Sadcommunity!
Have you ever wanted to send fanmail to Sadcat and I? Well, now you can! I got a PO Box so everybody could send a letter to Saddy if they'd like to. I hope to be able to feature some of the letters he receives on Fridays - I'd love to contribute to Free Post Friday too, and I figured fan mail would be a fun way to do so!
Information is below, let me know if you have any questions! :)

Hello SadFolks.
Unfortunately, it was lately brought to my attention that lately there have been numerous scam posts appearing throughout the sub asking for money.
From now on, any donation posts must be approved by the mods. If you see a suspicious post asking for money, REPORT it immediately. I'm sure most of you have good intentions, but unfortunately, there are and there always will be scam artist on the internet waiting for a more naive Redditor to fall into their trap.
All scam-like posts will be removed and accounts suspected of being scammers will be banned indefinitely. We at r/Sad_Cat do not support any form of defraudment.
Stay safe out there, and make sure to reach out if you see any suspicious activity on the subreddit.

Hello everyone! This post is mod approved. Thank you so much for your incredible support, I couldn’t save this cat without you!
Unfortunately, his lab results officially confirmed a diabetes diagnosis. Because of his underlying liver issues, oral diabetes meds weren't a safe option, but daily insulin shots and his new diet have already brought his glucose down from over 500 to much safer, stable levels. After a few days on IV at the vet, he is now home taking his insulin and liver supplements. Free from the cage at his old foster, he’s completely transformed into a sweet, cuddly boy who just wants affection.
We still have a couple of important health problems that he needs help with. He currently has a UTI with blood in his urine. Now that his previous antibiotic for his respiratory infection has cleared his system, we need to run a proper urinalysis to find the right targeted antibiotic for him.
And because he has FIV, his mouth is also in rough shape, and he'll soon need a dental cleaning and extractions to address tartar and teeth that need to be removed.
We are actively searching for his forever family! I am located in Romania, but shares to help us find an adopter are so appreciated.
If you are able to help toward his ongoing vet care, urinalysis, and dental treatment, any amount truly helps us give him the life he deserves!

That is not Boo, but I do think this kitty is a lady and want to name her Esther. We'll see what Momcat has to suggest.

Hello everyone! This post is mod approved. Thanks to your incredible support, the black cat is officially out of the bad foster situation and in safe hands!
Unfortunately, his vet visit brought some concerning news. His glucose levels were over 400 two days in a row (as you can see in the blood tests), he’s lost 2kg at the bad foster and he has been drinking excessive water, so the vet strongly suspects diabetes.
On top of that, his liver levels are bad, and he is also suspected of having pancreatitis. We have sent out blood and urine samples to confirm the exact diagnosis for everything and are currently waiting on those lab results (FPL, fructosamine, and the urine to see if it has any glucose in it)
Because of the extensive diagnostic tests and getting a second opinion for the diabetes diagnosis at another clinic, I have completely run out of funds. I can only cover his vet treatment through tomorrow.
We urgently need help raising money to cover his daily vet care (around $30/day), liver medications, low-carb wet food, and eventually a $130 abdominal ultrasound alongside potential insulin therapy.
Any donation or share means the world to us and allows him to keep receiving the treatment he needs. Thank you all so much for sticking by him! Anything helps!! And I really hope he doesn’t have diabetes!!!

She has wanted something like this for a long while and got lucky on Marketplace this weekend. It's originally from Pottery Barn, got it for $175!

Hello everyone! This post is mod approved. In January, if you look at my previous posts, I rescued an FIV+ cat who is currently in a long-term foster home, but it turned out not to be the right environment for him. He is terrified of his “caregiver”, has lost 2kg, and is now being kept in a cage and neglected. She even admitted to using a broom to interact with him.
She claims he has a UTI and respiratory issues, but is refusing to provide the medical care she originally promised.
I can take him into my own home in October, but I need to move him into a safe, paid foster home immediately to get him out of this traumatic environment. I already care for a cat with HCM, kidney failure, and also FIV+, so money is extremely tight.
I am raising funds to cover his paid foster care until October, along with urgent vet tests and treatment for his UTI. Any donation or share helps get him out of that cage and into a safe, caring space. Thank you so much for your support. I promise to post ASAP an update on him.

I found it in r/ThereIsNoCat, and thought immediately of all the adorable pics of Saddy tucking himself into your bass bag. )
