Temporarily Blocked from Instant Adventure?

I just started playing Rift again two days ago after years and I seem to have been temporarily blocked from instant adventure. I was in the middle of combat when it happened.

Is there a cap on how long we’re able to do these objectives?

It does happen when you go "AFK" or better whenever the game thinks you are not contributing to the IA quests. For example if you run around aimlessly not finding quest items.

Or its just a bug.

Maybe an unfortunate bug? I know the existence of not being able to re-queue IAs if you leave them too fast/early, has a timer of like 5-10 minutes or so.
