Is this normal? NSFW
This is kinda tmi but uhm is it normal for your vision to become static like after masterbaiting? After I orgasm and I start to look around and re adjust, I always notice that my vision looks like I’m seeing out of a filter of an old fashioned tv, it looks like static and a bunch of miniature dots just barely visible over my vision. I get this sometimes when I stand up to fast or when I don’t eat/drink enough. Thank you!!

Hi and no worries, this is exactly the type of questions we are here for:) What you are describing is often caused by a drop in blood pressure, like when you stand up, and not enough blood momentarily reaching your brain and eyes (which are the brain’s extension essentially). There are a couple things that could contribute to that during and after masturbation, like hyperventilation which lowers the carbon dioxide in your blood which can make blood vessels in the brain contract, or stimulation of the vagus nerve which is among many other things involved in arousal and orgasm, which lowers heart rate and blood pressure. That said, if that’s something that’s worrying you, you can always check in with your healthcare provider about it.
