Question Is Mage Errant completed?
Picked up the first 2 books recently on Audible and so far im really enjoying it.
Noticed there were 2 entries for book 7, one of which is an anthology that was released in Feb of 2024.
Is the series complete? Or oats it on a hiatus?

It is complete. The Gorgon Incident book is a bunch of short stories in the same setting but not related to the plot of the main series.

It is complete, great series. Looking forward to more from John Bierce. First book of the More Gods than Stars series is good so far.

It's complete but I think the author is planning on making a multiverse thing kinda like Brandon Sanderson. He has another book called the city that would eat the world that's also in the same multiverse it's pretty good too. I'm looking forward to more of his books and hoping to get more of Hugh and the crew

amazing series, highly recommend. Hopefully we get some sequels at some point as the story finishes with so much world/universe building left to explore

Definitely. I agree the story about Skyhold is over though, but I would love to follow the group a little longer after everything that's happened and all the big plans about the future they talked about throughout the books.

Yes, but I thought at the end of the last book Bierce states that Hugh would return eventually. Probably in Avengers: Doomsday, but I'm not sure.

One of the absolute best series I have ever read but holy mother of God the narrator made me quit the audio books. I hope he someday does a full cast or partial cast rerecording. I would buy it in a heartbeat

Unfortunately Ralph Lister is the only narrator ive felt the urge to speed up an audible title for. So many long breaks in between lines, and then the lines are read super slow. Usually around 1.25x

Like he has a unique voice that isn't unpleasant but he absolutely cannot do female voices and for a series with so many strong female characters it's rough.

You couldn’t just type this on Google?

Where do you think the answers on Google come from? In a couple months, whenever someone asks this question, this post will probably be the top answer.

I've been burned by Google too many times. Search to see if a series is complete, and end up seeing a fuck ton of spoilers that end up ruining 90% of what i hadn't listened to yet. I'd rather ask here where I don't have to worry about an AI getting information wrong or straight up saying something like "the series concluded with the death of _____"

I agree, it took me way to long to realize the name of the wind was unfinished

At this point, the ONLY thing I know about the Name of the Wind is that it’s never getting finished.
