I don't really care about how this movie has being Disney-fied, since it basically sounds like people are just bitching that the Predators are being made completely human here.

We are following the perspective of a Predator as the main protagonist. So, it is not surprising that there is lot more personality being shown than the cold and sadistic monsters we have been seeing previously.

Just finished my first Narin Studio Predator figure. This was my first time doing anything like this so I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out!

A myth I keep seeing now and then is that the Jungle Hunter from the original film was meant to be just a serial killer who happened to run into the soldiers. But that's not true at all; the Jungle Hunter was always meant to be part of a grander civilization.

But what if that were the case? Like, how different would the lore of the Yautja be if it turned out the Jungle Hunter was some random psychopath who went killing people from other planets rather than part of a warrior culture?

I wouldn't change a thing with Predator lore honestly, I just wanted to hear your thoughts.

I used to have the original Kenner toy back in the day, and I had the opportunity of reinventing the old NECA figure.

Hey y’all, I just beat Predator: Concrete Jungle on normal difficulty but holy fuck, are there some hard ass missions(Under the Gun, 10,000 ways to die, If It Bleeds, etc).

So far out of all tutorials/forums I’ve read, it seems that this game is literally impossible to beat without upgrading your gear and weapons.

Has anybody had any experience completing this game on Blooded(max difficulty) with 0 upgrades? I think unless you found some bug it’s literally impossible to.

So let me give you guys some lore about this yaujta, He was considered to be a wise and honorable hunter, eventually becoming the first young blood to kill a xenomorth queen.

He then became an Elite Hunter he never took glory in his hunts. The only thing that he cared for was honor he was respected by some clans, eventually even becoming an elder, yet he didn't want any warriors he wanted yaujtas who hunted in their own ways to use tactics that some don't use in combat.

As long as they keep their honor than those who follow him have every right to hunt the way they want reason for this is because some may be seen as an outcast or insane for doing things differently.

He was a strong believer of seeing those with potential that helping them understand they are more than just hunters that being who they are is more than enough.

Any stories of Predators doing non hunting things?

I've always loved Predator 2 but tonally it's a bit all over the place and some of the visual effects are starting to show their age a bit so I wanted to make an edit which addresses some of these issues.

I know these types of edit can be a bit controversial for some but the original isn't going anywhere, and no disrespect is meant to the incredible artists who worked on the film under extreme time pressures, it's just meant as a different way to experience the film.

Key visual changes:

Colour corrected/removed matte lines for nearly every shot of the Predator cloaked

Added dreadlocks to the silhouette of the Predator when cloaked

Added blood effects to some shoot out scenes.

Corrected visual glitches in the Predator's heat vision caused by explosions/gun fire

Removed any visible stunt wires, especially when the Predator falls down the side of the building

Colour corrected shot of Danny grabbing the Predators cloaked arm

Added blood when Jerry's spinal cord is pulled out

After the Predator loses it's biomask, all POV shots now matched to their appearance in the first Predator film.

Colour correction and edited where the legs of the Predator's enter the smoke as the Lost Tribe cloak and decloak in their ship (comparison video)

Realigned different film elements when the Predator ship blasts off and removed visual errors/artefacts (comparison video)

Key scene changes:

Removed a couple of Jerry's jokes.

Removed the kid at the cemetery

Removed the Predator being hit by lightning

Reduced (but didn't completely remove) the old lady in the apartment

Removed the scene of the Predator talking while dangling off the ledge

Total time removed is 3 minutes

There is also a version of the edit available which incorporates all of the visual improvements but without any scenes removed and otherwise matches the Theatrical release.

Little grail I found recently, I finally got myself a bad blood figure, I was about to pay a lot of money for the old version but I found this dual pack second hand and I had to get it

How would Yautja respond? Who would come out on top? Would they fight to the bitter end or negotiate after enough casualties?

Since the very mean admins took down my last Yautja sketch, I’m making a new one, which I’m going to have to add more armour to because admins don’t like realistic yautja armour. Anyway here it is so far, unmasked this time. What do we think?
