I mean, I'm just a regular worker and my RSUs are taxed when they vest. Stock options are taxed when exercised. What's the big deal about taxing them a measly (to them) 5% more?

$50 million per billion on unrealized gains is a start, just like income tax was for the wealthy. How did that work out for the 50% of us who pay federal taxes.
