It will not. Billionaires’ net worth is 8 trillion, 5% of 8 is 400 billion. But after they dump their 5% of shares to give tax, then the stock market will crash, which will decrease their net worth more than 400 billion but also trash our retirement.
Bernie’s tweets are just feel-good for people who don’t understand numbers or second-order effects.
