Under the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, individuals must provide Documentary Proof of Citizenship (DPOC) at the time of voter registration. Standard driver's licenses, standard REAL IDs, or tribal and military IDs alone do not satisfy the requirement because they typically do not explicitly list citizenship status.

As I posted, only REAL ID with citizenship status noted can be used in the SAVE Act. That is only applicable to 5 states currently. All other state ID's including REAL ID's will also need additional documentation.

Again, you're missing on the citizenship part.

And Montana didn't require people to get REAL ID until 2025.
