Yeah, and he was right

u/HBravery 15h ago

Better to say Kendrick Lamar repeated widespread, well known and longstanding accusations of Drake being a creep lol.

u/Ding-Dong-Dutch 14h ago

Is that how you spell pedo?

u/Ok_Yoghurt9427 14h ago

Yes, the "certified" version

The new Trump coins are "Pedo Pesos"

u/Marley_Fan 10h ago

Holy shit, is that why the hook is 4 chords??

u/therepublicof-reddit 2h ago

No, it's "paedophile".

u/nutslikeafox 14h ago

16 is legal age in Canada tho

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 14h ago

Yes, Americans and much of the world will still consider dating a 16 year old pedophilia. Hell. I wouldn’t even date an 18, 19, or even 20 year old. I’m 25 for reference. If you are not college aged you should not date college aged for several reasons

u/KabutosForeskin 14h ago

20 and 25 is fine

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 13h ago

For you maybe. I dated a 20 year old twice in my life. Once when I was 21 and once when I was 23. Even then the issues I had with their development are strong. The fact of the matter is that even though we are all of age in these scenarios, we are at extremely different points in college, which creates so many differences

u/fitz_newru 6h ago

Ever consider that the problem was your selection in partners and not their age??

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 5h ago

Yeah no dip. I literally said that. I also firmly believe they are going to mature into great women one day and I caught them at a time in their life when they need to learn who they are. I haven’t had to worry about that when I talked to women who have finished college. There is no one single “the problem.” It’s easy to try and look for one when you are a stranger online but you don’t know the full story

u/East-Albatross-810 14h ago

you're 25 and are not attracted or willing to date 20 yo?

u/fitz_newru 13h ago

Yeah that's a bit much

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 13h ago

Maybe for you. Who are you to say what I think is too much

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 13h ago

No sir. I’ve given 20 year olds shots when I was younger and had issues with their maturity. Those issues will only grow stronger as I age

u/DaddysABadGirl 13h ago

Just for transparency, most of the developed world finds it creepy, US included. But over half of our states also set the age at 16. It's fucking weird. Hawaii didn't increase it from 14 untill the 00s.

u/ALocalCatAppeared 13h ago

Had me until you compared dating an adult to pedophilia

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 13h ago

I didn’t though, you just can’t read. I said I don’t even find 18, 19, 20 year olds datable these days due to maturity issues. This is to highlight how weird I think dating young is. If you read that and thought I’m calling dating adults pedophilia, that’s on you and your comprehension skills

u/fitz_newru 6h ago

Nah your framework was problematic from jump

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 5h ago

To you maybe

u/AideInternal1045 10h ago

Thats because many Americans are illiterate and just parrot what they hear. Its like Americans are allergic to picking up a book or learning.

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 10h ago

Yeah but that’s not what happened here. Assuming unintelligence is a bit ignorant in of itself. You never know what me or whoever is reading this thread has just read.

u/AideInternal1045 9h ago

Yes, Americans and much of the world will still consider dating a 16 year old pedophilia.

That's exactly whats happening here as 16 is not pedophila because 16 year olds have gone through puberty. Reading is important, reading comprehension even more so.

u/vismundcygnus34 13h ago

The fear of being labeled a pedo while dating someone in your age range is wild. (Not 16)

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 13h ago

I literally didn’t label it as pedophilia. I simply added that I wouldn’t even go for people in the college range. Who are you to decide if MY preferences are wild

u/vismundcygnus34 13h ago

I literally didn’t decide what your preferences should be. Just commenting the social violence associated with age gaps, even small appropriate ones, is wild. Chill my guy.

u/Interesting_Egg_1960 13h ago

My bad I didn’t read that like that cause personally I’ve never been labeled a pedo dating in my age range, nor have any of my friends. Even when I dated a girl four years younger. Me not wanting that is based on preference, not fear

u/vismundcygnus34 12h ago

Sounds like you're a little afraid. I totally understand, it's the worst label one can get. That's exactly what I'm referring to. The label has become a weapon, and has lost any of it's original meaning. It's pretty scary and sad. Someone who's 25 shouldn’t be terrified to date a 20 year old out of fear of a mis-label. Strange times we live in.

→ More replies (0)

u/lil-cosm 14h ago

This is one of those weird af subtleties to point out, but pedophilia is by definition before puberty. I think most should consider this example of 16 year old ephebophilia.

Again this is just a nitpick of language I’m not trying to argue it’s at all ok and you’re also totally correct that most americans would (incorrectly) call it pedophilia.

u/praeteria 13h ago

It's very very hard, if not impossible to explain to people the difference between hebephiles ephebefiles and pedofiles without sounding like....a pedofile.

Why would the subcategories even matter. 10, 12, 16, it's a grown men looking at literal kids..

Eww.

Just imagine... Almost 40 year old man dating a high school sophomore.

I mean sure it's less offensive then a 40 year old dating a 5 year old but still how is a 16 year old emotionally intelligent enough to date a 40 year old man showering them with money, false promises, and un adulterated praise for their CURRENT appearance.

I'm 39 and if I was single my first stop wouldn't be my nearest highschool for a fucking mate.

u/Trumpisaderelict 14h ago

I’m confused. Is the other person in this meme a high school sophomore???

u/DuckCleaning 14h ago

She's not, she's 23

u/roguluvr 13h ago

Reddit being the soul arbiter of morality. Just another day in their sanctified puritan hellscape

u/DuckCleaning 13h ago

That's not even what is happening here. The reference to the age of consent being 16 was an argument people made for a situation from 10 years ago when he was in his 20s and supposedly rented out a Toronto restaurant to go on a date with someone that was 16, Bella Harris. She wasn't even in the country at the time but the rumours already spread. The girl in the above pic is 23.

u/ALocalCatAppeared 13h ago

That doesn't make it not weird bro 😭😭😭

u/nutslikeafox 12h ago

I know I'm not defending him but just saying

u/Drumbelgalf 12h ago

Doesnt make it any less creepy and wrong.

u/JswitchGaming 12h ago

You do you but that's pretty fucking vile.

u/damn_i_love_frogs_ 11h ago

In Canada, at 16 you can consent to someone within 5 years of your age, and imo it’s meant to protect kids that start dating at like 16 and 17, so when the 17 year old turns 18, the relationship doesn’t become illegal. Not people who are 21 whose type is a teenager that isn’t emotionally mature enough to recognize when they’re being groomed

u/nutslikeafox 10h ago

Ah that makes more sense then.

u/Status-Volume-9091 11h ago

Cool. The age of consent here in Ireland is 17 (I think anyway). I still think any adult who dates someone under 18 (and even 18-19 would be weird depending on the adult's age) is probably a pedo

u/sirspacebill 11h ago

And if the legal age was 11 how would you feel about drake suddenly with an 11 year old

u/Mr-Pugtastic 10h ago

Drake is 39. If you had a daughter who was 16, would you be happy with her dating a man more than double her age? He was 23 years old when she was born. Defending this kinda shit makes you look like a pedo.

u/nutslikeafox 10h ago

Damn too many tears. I didn't defend him tho I just stated a fact.

Also being a pedo means you're attracted to prebusent kids not 16 year olds.

I'm just being politically correct really.

u/nutslikeafox 9h ago

Lol I didn't get to read your full response but yeh I'm aware I just wanted to "technically" that and rage baited reddit

u/EonAtom 9h ago

Ironically Drake started it. Kendrick didn't bring up girls until Drake did, unprompted "ain't fuckin' with no Millie Bobby Browns"

There were clear hints that kendrick was gonna go there, but he tried to warn Drake not to let it get to that point.

u/10SB 4h ago

And someone correct me if I'm wrong (some details of that beef escape me) wasn't it Drake that used A.I. generated audio of Tupac telling Kendrick to go for it.

u/EonAtom 4h ago edited 3h ago

Yes it was. He really tried to 8-mile his way out of being called a pedo.

It was a terrible song too. Similar speech patterns but no actual tone and a complete lack of rhythm. Just disrespectful to the Shakur family.

u/QuantumPairOfSoczk 11h ago

Did someone say Millie Bobby Brown?!

u/thx1138- 5h ago

It's my perogative

u/ScarletPhoenix15 11h ago

Not to mention Megan Thee Stallion had already called it out in Hiss like a month before. If you look at the other lines around the Megan's Law one, they're all clearly about Drake. Nicki Minaj just loves all the pedophiles she surrounds herself with and crashed out so it got lost that was clearly about Drake.

u/ProfessorNibba 15h ago

Bro we just need to Google Drake fan 17 to find video evidence of him being inappropriate with underage fans, y'all are delusional for a grown ass man

u/MirageATrois024 15h ago

What are you taking about? They are insulting drake.

u/ProfessorNibba 14h ago

I'm not about to argue about reading comprehension with people from a country that can't decide if a killer of three children deserves life in prison or be institutionalized, since most accusations from Kendrick are proven, there are not speculative accusations anymore, I know that and English is my third language you dimwits

u/EastSideDomi 14h ago

Wtf does Lindsey have to do with drake or reading bro 😭 you think these redditors are deciding the court’s fate? Daddy chilllll

u/fitz_newru 13h ago

The Professor came here on the warpath today

u/ProfessorNibba 13h ago

Just pointing out with a inflammatory example I admit that will stick that most people don't even know how basic legal terms work, even in rap beefs

u/EastSideDomi 12h ago

Inflammatory? More like dumbassery

u/OkAcanthaceae3049 14h ago

The American Education system continues to fail us

u/uselesshandyman 14h ago

Dude, if this is your response, you might need to brush up on the ol' reading skill.

u/mog_knight 13h ago

She's 23. Have they been dating for 6 years or something?

u/kranelegs 10h ago

He’s 39 and is not helping the accusations of being with much younger women/girls

u/Thelostsoulinkorea 10h ago

She is over 20, I don’t see the problem. If she was younger, then it is getting creepy but people need to get over age differences.

u/sbidlo 9h ago

I don't see the problem

u/deskcord 8h ago

Nah weird redditors who obsess over popculture and tabloid gossip have this tendency to infantilize women. This is a grown adult who makes her money creating thirst traps. If she wants to go on a date with another grown man, and knows all the things about him, that's on her.

At some point in time adults have to be considered adults who are making their own decisions.

Drake finally spending time with an adult doesn't change that he's still a creep and clearly a pedo, but a 39 year old going out with a 23 year old is two consenting adults doing whatever the fuck they want.

Shit, if anything, it seems clear to me based on the one video I watched after googling "who the fuck is pinkchyu" that she's the one manipulating him here.

u/sbidlo 7h ago

Why so focused on "consenting adults"? Legal doesn't mean that it's not weird. A 40yo going for a 20yo is weird as fuck

u/Exotic_Salamander987 5h ago

Nah, when she looks that good, that’s just being heterosexual. Though I do think that being interested in a serious relationship rather than just a physical fling would be weird. Not sure what they would have in common beyond being attracted to one another.

u/HamsterVeggieNcheese 5h ago

Its often weird. People are complicated, and it's not inherently wrong like dating an underage girl.  Sometimes it's just fine. We really don't understand either of their maturity levels to know.

u/Wenital_Garts 6h ago

Why is it weird? What if it works for them?

People say, "different life stages" "or different experiences" but those can be true while two consenting adults with a large age gap desire the same things in a relationship and thats what's important.

u/sbidlo 6h ago

Why is it weird

40 and 20. Do I really need to spell it out?

u/Wenital_Garts 6h ago

I mean, if you're gonna be like that then, no.

u/kranelegs 2h ago

Ok L Dicrapio

u/SMOKE-B-BOMB 6h ago

I mean it’s weird for you but that doesn’t make it true. Just worry about yourself and your own principles lol stop pushing them on everyone else. Would I do it? No but it’s not me to decide if it’s weird or not

u/sbidlo 6h ago

Nah certain societal norms exist for a reason, it's really easy for a middle aged person to take advantage of a 20 year old, and that makes romantic involvement weird as fuck.

u/gioluipelle 4h ago

It’s really easy for a man worth a quarter of a billion dollars to take advantage of anyone. His age is the least consequential factor here.

Realistically almost any relationship he has is gonna have a lopsided power imbalance.

u/Wenital_Garts 6h ago

She made him bark like a dog in one video I saw. Dudes a loser and she has him wrapped around her finger lol.

u/kranelegs 2h ago

It’s not about her at all. You’re the weird Redditor thinking any part of my comment was about her and not solely about him. But yeah agreed there are weird Redditors that attribute their own opinions about her (maybe look in a physical mirror).

u/chemistrybonanza 2h ago

Was at the beach today and saw this amazingly hot 25ish year old skinny and fit woman with a fat as fuck 70 year old man. Gross? Sure. But she was an adult and seemingly has no shame choosing him (and presumably his money) over a person much nearer her age and general fitness level.

u/steelbubble 4h ago

How old are you? If you’re over 25 and you don’t see the vast difference between yourself and those younger than that then you should maybe reexamine yourself. It may be legal but it’s still sketchy as fuck

u/deskcord 4h ago

I'm over 30 and would never date someone below 25. But that's because our life experiences are different and I find that we're incompatible.

I don't have issues with other adults making their own decisions.

She's an adult.

u/KingOfBeansAndSoup 6h ago

How is Drake a pedophille? You people use words without knowing what they actually mean to the point where they lose all meaning.

You are a pedophille. It's true because I just said so. That's apparently how this works

u/MessiahHL 6h ago

Milly Bobby Brown unintentionally revealed he tried to groom her (she didnt understand what was happening and exposed him innocently) when she was like 13, so its real that he is a pedophile

But people complaining about dating a 23 yo are just being weird, this at least is ok, the other shit he did is not

u/KingOfBeansAndSoup 6h ago

No, she didn't....

Millie Bobbie Brown said Drake was giving her career and relationships advice. He's a former child actor himself so was telling her about industry tips. She has come out multiple times calling out the internet for twisting her words to make it weird.

People just have porn brainrot so interpreted that as him trying to sleep with a child. You cannot fathom a conversation with the opposite gender without a sexual connotation. There is no proof he wanted a relationship with her

u/MessiahHL 6h ago

If you dont understand how its innapropriate to DM children unrelated to you to talk about relationships, even late at night, theres not much i can do for you right now

If he was at least an upstanding guy i could give you a pass, but if you take his life into account it was clearly problematic

I ain't out here grooming starlets in their teens.

u/andrewisagir1 7h ago

Brains don’t fully develop until 25 on average, first of all.
Also it is not infantilizing to acknowledge that a 23 year old and a 40 year old have vastly different experiences that can and do greatly contribute to an unequal power structure. She isn’t a literal child, she’s just too young for the middle aged man.

u/KingOfBeansAndSoup 6h ago

Brains don’t fully develop until 25 on average, first of all.

Debunked myth

Also it is not infantilizing to acknowledge that a 23 year old

She's an adult and can make her own decisions on who she wants to have a skit date with. Any other conclusion you make is literally infantilizing. An adult cannot be too young to be with another adult

u/TanTan3656 4h ago

Too young for a middle aged man but is old enough to make onlyfans content and make her whole gimmick about sex and sexual humor.

u/Actual-Feed-9739 5h ago

23 is a grown ass adult. If she wants to fuck a millionaire rapper 16 years older than she is, why is that not okay?

And no, I don't like Drake. I hate him. But there's nothing wrong with this, she is a consenting adult.

u/DrDumle 2h ago

It’s not weird that young girls want to sleep with celebrities.

It’s weird that celebrities want to sleep with young girls.

u/Loud-Study-3837 7h ago

This is reddit man. Everyone here has a problem with age gaps, ESPECIALLY in consensual relationships cos they feel that a 23 year old cannot possibly make consensual decisions when dating older men and that it HAS to be grooming.

u/Thelostsoulinkorea 7h ago

Yeah, I wonder how many people on here are close to the same age as well. Do they not trust their own judgement?

u/MessiahHL 6h ago

I came to the conclusion most people on reddit are teens and twenty somethings really pissed that older guys can use their position, experience and resources to bang the girls they are into

Whit knighting for Drake in 2026 is a wild decision... Hey mog knight, I hear you like em young

u/mog_knight 8h ago

Dafuq is whit knighting?

u/Stormfly 4h ago

It used to be used when a man would defend a woman because she was a woman (even if she was wrong) but now it's used for anyone defending anyone.

I think it's weird to like someone more than a few years older or younger... But it's not creepy or disgusting.

Young people are good looking. That's normal to think that.

However, I feel like past a certain point, they feel like children to me (as a teacher, I taught people 10 years younger than me so that's a HARD cutoff.)

The issue is that the people judging him for "preying on" young women are also infantalising her as if she has no autonomy or cannot say no.

They're both weird... But caring this much about it isn't much better.

u/Pax_Eterna_4991 7h ago

He was grooming the Seven girl from Stranger Things back then

u/mog_knight 6h ago

Back when?

u/PeasantParticulars 6h ago

He befriends undeage girls and sends them deeply inappropriate messages, then sometimes has sex with the girls after they turn 18

u/mog_knight 6h ago

When did he befriend her?

u/PositiveCoyote100 14h ago edited 14h ago

Calling this grooming is infantilizing a grown woman.

Something a lot of men like to do. You'll notice when a young woman dates an older man like this, it's almost never other women who have an issue with it.

These men are trying to be white knights and end up sounding like creeps.

u/tiggoftigg 10h ago

Women definitely have issues with this as well.

u/Strong-Character1268 10h ago

Yeah what the fuck? Women definitely have issues with this.

u/PositiveCoyote100 2h ago

90% of the time it's men. Most women are supportive of other grown women dating whoever they want to date.

u/Vast-Statement45 13h ago

Yep Millie Bobbie Brown would like to say a word

u/roguluvr 13h ago

Is that word that to this day she is confused by the public’s focus and insistence that there was anything sexual or groomy about them? And that maybe pathetic people make shit up for likes and attention online?

u/Vast-Statement45 11h ago

Sorry I can't really understand you with Drake's dick so deep in your mouth.

She said how he texts her and talks to her about school and boys when she was 14. She was talking about it innocently because she was 14.

He is not a family member nor friend of the family and there is absolutely no reason to text a 14 year old child and talk to her about boys. Even if for her it's cute and normal.

He is not dumb he is not gonna have text evidence of him flirting with her but he was definitely probing.

ETA : here is the video. https://m.youtube.com/shorts/-2_53Xteng0

u/Careful_Doughnut_211 10h ago

Since you couldn't understand what guy above was saying (tbf he said it in a longer way than necessary lol), he was talking about when she defended him after - https://www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/celebrity-news/millie-bobby-brown-defends-lovely-friendship-with-drake-after-backlash-over-age-gap-a3942076.html

u/Vast-Statement45 10h ago

Article was in 2018, which makes her 14.

I'm not sure why is it hard to understand in the concept of children CANNOT consent because of this very reason. When I was 14 i would go crazy over a "mature" guy talking to me, let alone a celebrity.

Of course for her it's innocent, she was too young to understand. He seemed nice he tells her he missed her and he talks to her about boys.

To us adults this really feels yucky because why does a grown ass man even talk like that to a child that he isn't related to or have any meaningful relationship to (friend of the family for example).

Yes he didn't say "date me" but you can't listen to her talk about what they text and think that is a very normal interaction.

When people talk about raping a minor, it does not necessarily mean they forced them. That can also be a "consensual" relationship but since underage people can't consent, then the opinion of the child isn't taken into account.

And you can see a nice example of why children can't consent in the video and in the article : because you cannot think a grown adult talking to a 14 year old like this is normal, nor okay and that fact that she thinks it is, does definitely not make it better.

u/KingOfBeansAndSoup 6h ago edited 6h ago

I'm not sure why is it hard to understand in the concept of children CANNOT consent

You've been telling yourself a lot in these comments.

She was a child actor. Drake is a former child actor. He gave her advice on her career and relationships. You've taken that as him trying to sleep with her. Is your porn brainrot that bad? Are you unable to fathom non sexual conversations between 2 parties?

It feels yucky to you because you view women as sexual objects, and thus the notion of Drake actually just being friendly just cannot be a plausible reality.

I hope you get help.

the opinion of the child isn't taken into account.

Til this day she isn't accusing Drake of grooming her. Everyone else is. But let me guess, we still cannot take her account seriously

u/Vast-Statement45 2h ago edited 2h ago

it feels yucky because you view women as sexual objects.

No it feels yucky because men have been "having conversations" with me since I was 10.

It feels yucky because my English teacher who was "my friend" thrgouout the whole school year grabbed my ass in the end when I was 13 and it took me a whole decade to realize that wasn't just him being silly, because he was "my friend".

It feels yucky because when I was 15 I asked a random old man for directions and he directly started talking about take me out for lunch, only insisting further upon knowing my age. Also thought this was normal for many years.

I have absolutely 0 doubts in mind from the songs I heard from Drake, from what he says, from what Millie said, they that conversation absolutely isn't innocent from Drake's side.

People like you are the reason disgusting men are still in power, keep defending them.

u/KingOfBeansAndSoup 1h ago edited 58m ago

There we go - you have told on yourself. You are projecting your own life to Drake. Drake did not grab her ass. Drake did not ask her on a date. He gave her career and relationships advice. That's it.

Go to therapy instead of automatically assuming every conversation between a male and a female must be with the intention of leading to sex.

Nothing about Drakes music suggests he wants to sleep with little children. That is your head canon because again, due to trauma, you view women solely as sexual objects & that's the only conclusion you can think of. You're also removing autonomy from Millie B herself who has continuously denied anything malicious was behind the messages. She thinks you're the creep lmao

I hope one day you heal instead of falsely accusing people.

u/Vast-Statement45 57m ago

I'm saving your comment for the day it ages like milk.

You said what I said in fewer words and more directly to the point. Well done.

It’s weird for any adult to text a 14 year old about boys. That’s not a controversial take.

u/NoSleepTilBookRead 9h ago

I swear these men are trying to make shit like this normal for a reason

u/Vast-Statement45 8h ago

Anything for a grown ass man who loves mentioning high school in his "songs".

Groomers don’t have to “successfully groom” or do anything to be grooming.

Because nothing happened doesn’t mean he wasn’t grooming her.

She probably never bit and the groomer often won’t push so they can either, justify it to themselves or have plausible deniability.

I suppose I should say the word groomer one more time since I didn’t say it enough.

Aubrey has always had highly questionable interactions with women who are quite a bit younger than he is, not the mention his seemingly weird inability to whoo women his own age. From calling a 16 yr old fan thick at a show to texting “I miss you” to a (at the time) 14 yr old Millie Bobbie Brown; much like Chris Brown fans his support him regardless and attempt to bring up Kendrick’s infidelity as a counterpoint.

Dude has a son but continues to show is ass publicly and attempt to groom younger women because he lacks any luck with women his own age.

u/Embarrassed_Ad_6098 14h ago

Again, zero hard evidence other than DrAkE bAd. Keep dickriding

u/p90love 14h ago

Who's dickriding? Even drakes music is full of grooming bars, you won't even take it from "the boy" himself.

Do you think texting a 14 year old about boys she’s seeing is normal
