It’s so fascinating to me how differently people play. I only started doing the wordle a few months ago with three of my friends.

All three of them do something similar where their first two words knock out a bunch of if not all the vowels and the second word much like your setup always seems like a toss-away for information and not an actual guess.

Turns out the way I play without knowing until recently is the same way “hard mode” for Wordle is done.

I may not be faster than my friends but I very often get it in fewer guesses.

Then use PLOYS, goes through some more letters with no overlap. All 5.5 vowels and some of the most common consonants in the English language.

I agree with Wordlebot in using Slate. Has improved my average.

If no letters hit (and sometimes when they do), it likes to use Crony next. I prefer Choir. I often beat the bot with that method.
