Ghassan spoke the obvious and evident truth, faced the monsters, suffered the collaborators, and gave it his all until his last breath.
Most did not heed Ghassan's warning, and today a livestreamed holocaust continues unabated, as fear, hunger, greed, continues to chain people from struggling for justice - in the region, and across the world.
No one. Nobody in the history of the world has ever won their freedom by appealing to the moral sense of their oppressors.
