I'm currently making a small game for the Filipino horror gamejam. The theme was "real life horror" kaya naisip ko gawin tungkol sa baha para relevant. Baka may suggestions kayo hehe

I see a lot of gamers talk about backlog and refer to their whole game library. But for you personally, how do you decide which ones are considered for your backlog list?
And also as a PS5 gamer, I want to finish new games immediately para mabenta ko pa yung disc at high value or trade to multiple games na gusto ko talaga laruin.
But if there's a digital sale, let's say I spent 1500 pesos on 5-6 games. I wouldn't really consider them backlogs kasi most likely mga games na to yung mga intrigued lang ako but I feel no pressure to finish it (whether for spoilers or fomo reasons).
Maganda rin na you buy extra cheap games para if the time comes na walang interesting na new and upcoming releases sayo, you have some games to fall back on or try.

Got my Odin 3 Pro early this year as my first android handheld. Very much wanted a Thor but can't justify it, I really just want the form factor. And when they announced the Pocket Nova I tried to ignore it even though the idea of a 4:3 OLED handheld is really exciting to me. And now THIS.
They're saying both screens are 120Hz, with the bottom being exactly like the Nova. I hope the top is 6" and not 5.5"! The fact that it's also not all glass like the Thor is a plus to me.

Happy Tuesday!
Finally finished my DS Lite.
It has Dual Laminated IPS Screens, 1200mah Battery, Type C Charging port and Changeable Button Leds. Also used a DSPico for all of the games.
It looks good even compared to the Ayn Thor.

From what I’ve read, it’s way powerful than the Snapdragon 865 (Ayn Thor Lite) and a little below Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (Ayn Thor Base, Retroid Pocket 6 and Nova)
Smartphones that use the SD 7 Gen 4 includes the Motorola Moto Edge 70, and there’s a Youtube video of one running Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild at 20 FPS. Still perfect for 3DS, NDS, PS2 and Android games.
Still has RP Nova’s mortgage screen (in-joke, Retroid’s CEO had to mortgage his house to fund getting a 4:3 OLED manufactured for the Nova) and a 16:9 top screen, both 120fps, which differentiates this further to the Thor’s 60fps bottom screen + 120 fps top screen.
There’s a rumored screenshot that this will be priced at 300USD and I’m hoping this will come with a stylus compared to the Thor whose stylus is an additional purchase.
Not buying this for myself, as I already have a powerful Thor but considering the Duo for my kids — if Roblox don’t get banned by our very smart politicians.

I feel the gaming vibes again!
Kakabili ko lang ng new 🎮, and honestly, mas narerelax ako maglaro ulit! Siguro dahil sa work ko, parang sanay na rin ako sa same setup for most of the day, kaya these past few days, feeling ko medyo pagod na rin ako even when gaming. 😅
But with my new 🎮, I finally feel the gaming vibes again! 🙌 I also set up my PC with a PS5-style menu using the Playnite app, and ang sarap lang sa feeling!
Currently playing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and it feels so good!
Ikaw ano currently playing mo? Baka i-try ko rin!

Hello, I don’t know if this is the right sub for this. But out of frustration, gusto ko sanang mag rant especially about these gamers na grabe mambully sa mga newbie.
For context po, me and my boyfriend decided to play something. He lovees gaming and I wanted to try it too. As a beginner, pinatry nya muna sakin yung Left4Dead. Nagtry kami magjoin sa isang public lobby (which is modded and parang additional map na created rin ng player). For the mean time naging okay pa yung gameplay, pero I think 15 mins lang ata tinagal namin don at naririnig ko bf ko na parang naiinis kasi binabaril daw sya nung isang player. He tried to fight back pero nadown sya kasi pinagtulungan then tsaka dumirect sakin at nadown din ako.
At last, this is our first time we experienced this kind of toxic behavior and I know nag eexist parin sya sa kahit anong laro. Kindness costs nothing people!
Edit: modded po yung laro, and 8 players yung nasa game including us. Characters from L4D 1 and 2 kaya madami sila.

Hi there. I'm helping out a cousin whose PS5 recently began experiencing overheating issues and was wondering where they can have it looked at and fixed that's reputable and not too costly. They're based out of Makati but are willing to go to the Greenhills area to have it repaired there.

Ghost of Tsushima. Another masterpiece done. Combat isn't as wild as Kingdom hearts but still a solid and smooth style.
Story and flow are definitely up there. Even the stories of the other characters are worth knowing. I also love how I didn't get lost considering how massive the whole map is.
Travelling both running and riding a horse kinda grew on me. It's not as fast as fun as web swinging on Spiderman but I think what made it bearable is the beautiful scenes.
I also didn't feel the need to do lots of material farming, which is one of the things that bores me in a game. Lastly, sobrang sulit ng game na to. It's like The Last of Us but with longer play time.
What in the actual shit though! They shot my magic horse! Is it bad that I feel sadder than when Taka died? lol Such a coincidence when I named it Sora at the start, thinking of bright skies, and then ended up naming it Kage at the end.
I chose to spare him out of pettiness kasi bwisit yung honor honor nya.
Sa mga nakalaro ng Yotei, is it as good as or better than Tsushima? Sadly, wala akong PS5.

Playing GTA IV with the FusionFix mod (fixes a lot of steam version’s quirks). Last time I played GTA IV nung PS3 days pa and never ko pa nalaro yung mga DLC na Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony.
Sana matapos ko before dumating GTA VI sa November.

Hi, I just want advice here, I currently own a Nintendo Switch that I haven't used for 2 years because I broke it's Adapter (charger) and I've tried other type c cables and it didn't work, and buying an original charger is quite expensive (The nintendo was a gift for me, but I can't really afford a charger during that time, so I have to postpone it for 2 years) and now I'm in college, should I buy a original adapter now? Do I do buy it online or in personal so I can test it? or are there complications like battery issues in my nintendo since it hadn't been used for 2 whole years?

BioShock - last game in 2013, full Trilogy re-released in 2016 and 2020 (Switch).
Splinter Cell - last game in 2013, never ported to newer consoles. no updates on the remake.

Fresh grad here looking for work. I came across a post of Dark League Studios × Estudyante Esports a few months ago and I'm interested in applying for work there. From my research however, apparently there's lots of issues with this company. Would love to hear some thoughts from anyone here, specially those who've worked for/with Dark League about their experience with them. Do they compensate well naman kava? Really thinking hard since this is going to be my first job since grad and I'd love to work sa esports field. I'm hopeful na worth it naman magwork but if some people say otherwise, baka mas magandang sa iba na lang ake magtingin 🥹

Hello!
Just putting this thread up in the hopes that someone has a similar situation to mine.
- Bought a NS2 and want to dock it on the TV. Unfortunately, Nintendo's official docks are notorious for scratching the screen and the rear parts of the handheld.
- Bought a 3rd party dock Skull & Co Jump Gate dock in order to do play on the TV. Unfortunately, the display shorts out every hour or so (already did basic troubleshooting, changing the HDMI port, HDMI cable, only used NS2's official power brick, etc.) Issue got so bad that the TV's HDMI port got totally unrecognizable and inaccessible (had to perform a factory reset on the TV just to get this resolved)
What I need:
- Basically, I want to disassemble the NS2 dock and implant its components into a portable/DIY/3D printed dock. I was able to have this professionally done before because a 3D printed dock was being sold on ecommerce apps (when I had my NS v1).
- Having the official NS2 dock also provides peace of mind that I'm using official Nintendo hardware and would be able to avoid future headaches like incompatibility issues/PD issues/etc.
For reference, this is similar to what I had before on my NS1.

If anyone can point me to an online shop/folks who do this service/etc would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
