This had been a typical PEI summer. This year other areas of the world were hit with high temperatures, fires, drought.

In the Triassic period, the Carnian pluvial event saw about 1-2 million years of rain. I'm sure that was worse, but this feels about the same.

We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin' rain... and big ol' fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath. Shoot, it even rained at night...
