I remember a youtuber telling a story of ordering a milk tea in japan by translating both words, only to have the server correct them by going “oh, miruku tea”

Yeah and he also mentioned how to say Park Hyatt in Japan too. He said they understand it more if you say it in like a stereotypical way.
