Kinda unrelated, but at a biology test there was a simple exercise of matching the animal to it's family. One dude, which was cool with everyone and one of the best students, but not really good at biology, asked very quietly to the teacher if mullet was a mollusk. The class had to collectively hold back a laughter because nobody wanted to laugh at the cool dude.
It was at the height of a meme where a dude says "hello marilene, tonight, mullet, wine.", so the teacher thought almost everyone in the class would have known that mullet is a fish. Ah, high school in the middle-stages of social media.
