Customer still paid 70. Worker gets an excellent tip. The company isn’t a living entity so I do not care what occurs to it.

Win-win-win

Edit: to re-iterate the company is not a living entity. It is a business without feelings or a soul. If your counterpoint begins or centers on “the company” as a defensible entity: it is immediately moot.

But this is just an evil take. Denny’s will never financially recover from this. They are ruined.
