You’re confusing food yield with profit margins. I run PnLs for restaurant corporations, you think every time a company runs a 25% sale they operate on a EBITDA loss? A BoGo would bankrupt them lmao
A 25% likely doesn’t even show on their high discount reporting
Some amount of shoplifting is “factored in” to retail businesses, but that doesn’t mean they want employees stealing from them. It’s not like it’s just free money with no consequence to anything
The initial point was that someone stated that even with this discount the company still made money on the transaction, which is not true given their margins. Please feel free to scroll up and read the thread, it’s not hidden
