It’s mainly because of my job, I think. I’m a lawyer and a lot of lawyers (including myself) aren’t too keen on picking lawyer jurors. For understandable reasons imo.

Oh no...you might understand what is happening too much?!?

For real though, why wouldn't they want a lawyer on the jury? It's not like you could interfere with the trial anymore than any other juror could

jurors tend to just follow what the lawyer on the jury says if they know you are one.
