I was on a mock jury and once we selected the foreman the first thing he said was "Ok to start; there is no way anyone is going to convince me that [defendant] is liable."

I did.

Also - jury duty is fun, but any employer who doesn't make up an employee's full pay for the time they have to take off sucks.

Being on a jury is fun. Jury duty 99% of the time is going downtown at 8am to sit in a big room for 1-5 hours, then going home.
